I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was 14 years old. I also have a few years of experience with cats and dogs that were still in need of bottle feeding. Neighbors and friends often left me to take care of their pets regardless of their needs. In addition, I work regularly with high energy breeds of dogs. If you decide to book with me, I promise to take care of your babies as if they were my own.

I have three cats of my own as I live in apartments and cannot comfortably house dogs in my space at this time. However, I can care for your animals in your home however you see fit.

Alexis has house/dog sat for us multiple times. She’s a great communicator and our dogs love her.
We usually have our family members take care of our dog when we're gone, but this time we we're going on a family vacation and we had no one that we knew who was available. We found Alexis on Rover and she had great reviews, but I was nervous since our girl will growl at strangers in our home. Alexis came to meet our pup, and after a while Elsa became comfortable with her and that put my nerves at ease. We appreciated Alexis texts/messages that kept us updated on how Elsa (and our tortoise) were doing while we were gone. I also appreciated her flexibility when we let her know that we were coming home earlier than planned. Thank you for giving us peace of mind with our animals. We would definitely recommend, and we'd hire her again when we have another trip come up!
We have booked Alexis to watch our dogs five times, and unfortunately she cancelled last minute for three of those bookings. The first two cancellations happened the day of the booking, with only a few hours’ notice before the stay was supposed to begin. She communicated with me directly both times, and because she did a good job during the visits she did complete, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and decided to book with her again when our regular sitters weren’t available. That turned out to be a mistake. She confirmed the booking the day before and gave no indication there would be an issue. However, as we were literally pulling out of the driveway to leave for our trip — within the agreed start time window — I checked the app and saw a Rover banner that Alexis had requested to cancel the booking. She never contacted me directly. I immediately messaged her asking whether she was still coming and explained that we were waiting for her response before leaving. She read the messages right away but never responded. Because of the last-minute cancellation and lack of communication, we had to cancel our trip entirely. After experiencing three same-day cancellations, including one with no direct communication at all, I strongly recommend finding a different sitter. Also, I was unable to leave a review for the other 2 visits since she cancelled right before the visit started. Since this has happened to me 3/5 visits, I'm sure it has happened to others too.
Alexis is always so helpful! Always goes above and beyond to make sure Sheba is taken care of.
Alexis has been wonderful every time we’ve had her sit for our pups. Great communicator and always sends pictures.

Schedule
I do work full time but I am available in the early morning, evenings and weekends to play with and take care of all your animals needs. I can make house sitting work during the week but often have more flexibility on weekends. Drop in and walking services are easy for me to book seven days a week if your pets needs can be scheduled around my work schedule. Please message me for specifics as my schedule can fluctuate.
