Even though we do not have dogs ourselves, I grew up with many rescue dogs. Friends and neighbors have trusted me to care for their pups! I love to play with them, take them for long walks, or just cuddle.

Since I had a "super senior" cat who needed daily meds, I am punctual and diligent about care. I am excellent at paying attention to details. I give all animals attentive, loving care!

I met Alexis after she was thoroughly vetted by our cat rescue organization to adopt my foster cat, Mia. Mia had been with me since she was found homeless and pregnant and then had five babies at my house. As soon as I met Alexis, I knew she would be the best forever home for Mia. Alexis was so sensitive to Mia being separated from her last (big) baby since the two were quite bonded. Alexis was warm and caring to Mia, and so positive! I told Alexis it was easier to let me go knowing Mia would be in an even better home than mine… forever! Alexis continues to send me cute photos and updates of Mia. When I heard Alexis wanted to be a Pet Sitter, I thought that was the best idea. She’s a perfect fit!

Schedule
I am a full-time university professor. During the school year, I work from home on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I am also available Tuesday and Thursday late afternoons evenings. I am happy to schedule weekend care. My summer (mid-May to mid-August) is much more open and flexible. I am available for multiple daily home visits, but not for overnights.
