I am currently working part-time at a pet boarding/daycare facility called Paws Landing, so I will have plenty of time to dog/cat sit or walk! My shifts for my current job are 5:30am-1:30pm and 1:30pm-9:30pm so it just depends when I work to know when I am available. I chose my own hours at my job so I can totally work around my schedule to fit you in!

In client’s homes, I take the time to understand your pet’s needs, behavior cues, and comfort zones. I will make sure to follow every feeding and medication instructions precisely, and make sure there is no changes in behavior or health with your baby. As I said before, I work at a pet boarding facility so I know how to see changes in behavior and health, and I am used to feeding and administering medication to dogs and cats. I will also keep your home nice and clean, just the way I found it.

A typical day
A typical day starts with LOTS of belly rubs and attention! If the pet enjoys walks, we’ll go for a stroll around the neighborhood or to a nearby park. I can bring toys for a game of fetch if that’s what they like! For cats, we might play with feather wands, laser pointers, or just lounge together!

I have worked and shadowed in veterinary clinics/rehabs and pet boarding/daycare facilities, I volunteer sometimes at my local animal shelter, I am currently in college studying kinesiology to do canine rehabilitation, and I also sit and walk my family friends dogs and cats occasionally.

Alexis was wonderful with Archie! She took great care of him and kept me updated with photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. The house was clean and picked up when I got home, and everything was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend her and would gladly have her help again.
Alexis did a great job looking after our two dogs and house while we were gone for the week. Would definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a pet sitter.
Lexi is the the most compassionate, hands-on pet sitter I know. She has a big heart for all animals and gives her full attention to every job.
