Hello, y’all! My name is Alexis but y’all can call me Lexy. I am an animal lover of all types and sizes. No animal is too small or too big! A Little about myself: Besides my love for animals, I am a medical professional during the afternoon to evening hours. I work as an Athletic Trainer at a local high school. I care for the entire athletic population for my high school in keeping them healthy and safe. I love my career and the fact I can also care for amazing animals in my free time my career allows me! I have a 7 year old border collie mix rescue named Sox and 5 year old lab mix rescue named Jax. They are the best thing to ever happen to us. We honestly have no idea what we would do without them now! It’s hard to imagine our lives before our furry best friends now! It’s CRAZY! They are both very energetic and friendly! We try to take them everywhere with us when we can bring them! Our favorite activity is finding the best trails throughout the Louisville area (hence the name!). If you know of any trails that we should look into let us know! We are always looking for new adventures and maybe your furry friend will join us! Okay -- I could talk about them all day but we will move on! Besides my loving pups, I have grown up in and around a dog family my whole life. So I know the importance of keeping them healthy and safe. Therefore, I take my job seriously, whether it is walking dogs or watching your pets, I make sure that they are always happy and safe. I will treat your furry friend as I would treat Sox and Jax: as my own! I have plenty of experience taking care of various pets while working at a friend owned kennel and dog sitting for friends and family for 8 years. Where I was in charge of making sure the pets were fed, walked, groomed, and administered medicine to dogs and cats. I will make sure your pet is cared for and walked often. As stated earlier, I am athletic and love being active so I can keep up with the bigger dogs and help wear down the playful ones. No need to worry about those energetic ones with me! I will always be ready for a game of fetch but also will cuddle with the more experienced best friends. Keeping our loved ones safe is important to me.
