Let me be your pet’s new bestie!
I cared for dogs and cats through boarding, house sitting, and drop-in walks/play for years when I lived in NYC! Now, I've got over a year's experience on Rover since moving to Oakland, CA and I've been so grateful to get to service the pets in the Bay Area! Having made pet care a main part of my life, I've been around the block with all sorts of dogs. ;) I am ready for anything your little furry friend can throw at me. But most importantly, I will adapt to whatever your pet needs from me. I offer individualized care with boarding, so your pets will be my only guests when you book with me, and I do exclusive walks as well. A big thank you to all my returning pet parents! Always great!
Absolutely fantastic experience having Alexis board our dog. From the regular updates with pictures to kind and gentle approach she took until he warmed up to trust her, you can really tell Alexis has the right attitude and experience. The grass area out back is something our dog really enjoyed as it was like being at home able to take some naps in the sun in the grass. We'll definitely be planning in advance to get access to Alexis again.
Alexis was very flexible with pick up and drop off times, she sent lots of pictures of Meryl, and even took her to get a pup cup!
Very responsive and gave me lots of updates about how my dog was doing during his boarding stay. My dog came home happy as can be and looks very well cared for and based on the pictures had an awesome time with Alexis.
Alexis was an absolute life saver. I was out of town and Ripley needed close monitoring last minute. She was proactive about his health and gave me regular updates and pictures so I didn’t need to over worry about my dog while traveling. She was obviously very responsible and loving. Could not recommend her more.
First day care with Alexis went great! She was a great and clear communicator, very responsive to all my questions, and I felt confident dropping my dog off with her. Will definitely book again in future.

I am a patient, punctual, and compassionate person. I think animals make the world a better place and I will treat your animal and your time with the utmost respect. I also have a fenced in backyard and live in a safe neighborhood.
Ein typischer Tag
I’ll take your lead when it comes to your comfort level! If your dog loves hikes on trails, going to the dog park, or going to dog friendly beaches then we will take field trips! If they are more anxious and like to stick to walks around the block or hanging in the yard or house to play fetch or tug we will do that. For cats, we usually play with feather wands, pompoms, snuggle, and window watch. I’ll set alarms to make sure they never are late to a meal and always have fresh water.
