Emotional Support Human ♥️

Your beloved furry pal deserves the best life and your career, responsibilities, and vacation plans that you work hard for shouldn't need to be sacrificed. I'm here to tell you that you can do both. I treat all pets as if they were my own…and I think Coconut would say I treat her as if she deserves the world, because she does. I have lots of experience with animals over 2 decades and a 3 year old pup Coconut at home. As a trauma-informed practitioner and entrepreneur, it would mean so much to do some supplemental work with animals that I’ve always grown up with, giving my love to the very animals that give so much of the unconditional love that we need in this world. Several dozens of Neighbors, friends, family, and others have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe their pets, and give them ALL the love. I have experience with 8 week old pups, older dogs that need shots and medications, cats, horses, ponies, ducks, chickens, bunnies, and the list goes on.

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

Safety and trust are huge values of mine. Making sure safety exists, both actual safety and a felt sense of safety, is crucial for me and not just for me but for you, your family, and your beloved pet. My intention is that every day or time I have the opportunity to care for your pet that it increases the trust your pet, you, and your family have of me. This will be shown by keeping promises I make, showing the love I speak of, reducing anxiety for your pet by keeping their routines that you’ve established, and respecting the home, yard, community or space that you’ve trusted me in. I also am happy to adapt to any changes you need and I’m a life long learner so anything we can do to learn from each other is a win. I know that life happens and I’m here to make life easier to the best of my ability when it does.

Alexis was fantastic - always on time & even went over earlier when I requested at the last minute - she really went above and beyond caring for all my animals while I was away. She gave me such peace of mind while traveling - sent tons of pictures & checked in on every visit - highly recommended

Alexis is an amazing dog mommy to her pet Coconut. Coconut spends a lot of time with our dog Bella. Alexis cares for Bella when we are out of town and loves her to pieces. We couldn’t ask for anyone better to take care of her when we can’t.

Schedule

I make my own schedule for the most part and I tend to book events farther out. I launched my own business which is in the startup phase so I always know at least 2 weeks ahead of time what my schedule will look like. I am definitely happy to schedule recurring days for you. There are likely times most days though where if you send me a message that you need someone day of, I can likely make that work between my clients as well.

I always like to know a few key things ahead of time so I can give your pets the best care possible: Their daily routine (feeding times, walk schedule, sleep habits) Any medical needs, allergies, or medications Behavior quirks (shy, energetic, leash reactivity, fears, etc.) Favorite activities, toys, or comfort items House rules (furniture, treats, training cues you’d like me to follow) This way I can keep their routine consistent and make sure they feel comfortable and safe while you’re away.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
