Hi, I’m Lex! I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and currently share my days with two pit bulls, Ted and Wayne, who have taught me patience, structure, and just how much personality one dog can have. I’m also very familiar with dogs who need a little extra reassurance, consistency, or space to warm up. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and energy levels, from laid-back couch companions to dogs who need long walks, enrichment, and routine. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, administering basic medications, crate routines, and reinforcing any training you’re already working on at home. I’m attentive, calm, and detail-oriented, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet in someone else’s care, and I’m happy to provide regular updates, photos, and communication while you’re away. I focus on caring for pets in their own home through walks and drop-in visits, where they’re most comfortable. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I pay close attention to energy levels and personalities, whether that means a long walk to burn energy or a calm check-in with extra affection. I make sure pets have fresh water, a clean space, and feel safe and cared for, and I always send updates and photos after visits.

Alexis has taken care of my hound mix, Bee, for over five years now. In addition to providing loving care, Alexis always makes sure to be intentional with long walks, lots of cuddles, and provides frequent updates. Alexis will continue to be one of my favorite pet sitters, and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a consistent, kind, and attentive caregiver for their fur babies!
Alexis will care and love your dog as if he/she were her own. Alexis’ experience comes from years of working along side her family and their dog walking service and growing up with a family dog. Alexis was wonderful for my pup, a husky of 12. She took the time to do staircase therapy, had a flexible schedule, and always showed my girl some love. The few times I was there, my girl was incredibly excited to see Alexis. She has a natural gift with dogs. Honest and trustworthy.

Schedule
I just arrived in Florida and am in the process of settling in, so my schedule is very flexible right now. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, and I’m able to plan my days around walks, feedings, drop-ins, and quality time. Since I’m not juggling another job at the moment, I can be fully present and reliable, and I genuinely enjoy building my routine around caring for animals.
