Favorite toys, comfort items, and sleeping habits are also helpful so I can keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. My goal is to make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their family is away, so the more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide attentive, personalized care.

A typical day starts with a morning check-in, feeding, and a walk or potty break depending on the pet’s routine. I like to make sure pets start the day with some activity and attention so they feel relaxed and comfortable. Throughout the day I include playtime, enrichment activities, walks, and plenty of companionship. For dogs, this may include walks, games like fetch or tug, enrichment toys, and outdoor time to burn off energy. For cats, I focus on interactive play, toys, and attention that matches their personality; whether they’re playful or prefer quiet cuddle time. I always follow each pet’s established routine as closely as possible so they feel secure and comfortable while their family is away. In the evening we wind down with another walk or potty break, feeding if needed, and some calm time together. I also send regular updates and photos so pet parents can see how their pet’s day is going.
