Please let me know of any special needs or requests you have. I always offer a complimentary meet and greet to meet you and your pet (in person or virtually) to ensure I know exactly what your pet needs and likes while you're away. I also want you to feel confident before booking that I am the best fit for you and your pet. I have lots of experience in giving medication and other special requests. I want you to feel confident that someone is taking care of your babies while you’re away!

I love to treat your pets like the kings and queens they are! Every pet is unique and I believe in taking a customized approach to each pet to ensure they are taken care of just as if you were home. I also pay attention to what your pet feels comfortable with at the time of the visit. No matter what we do though, I will send extra detailed (maybe too detailed sometimes lol) notes of what we do during our visit.

Cats have always been an important part of my life, as my mom was a foster home for the Humane Society and a feral cat network. We helped raise litters of kittens without a mom, socialized dozens of feral and foster cats for adoption, and gave special medical care to cats who needed more attention. As a result, I am a bit of a cat whisperer. I know how to listen to your cat and give them the care and attention they need while you’re away. I grew up owning many kinds of pets (ducks, gerbils, chinchillas, and bunnies to name a few). I am also a proud rescue dog mom and raised him from a puppy through all sorts of training (from socialization to more niche training like supporting him through separation anxiety. I love all animals and want to meet your furry friend and give them the best care possible. I am very responsive and understand as a pet parent how important finding someone to trust to watch your fur baby is. I live in the Fenway area but do not mind coming to wherever you are to take care of your pet. I hope I can be a reliable resource and caregiver to your furry friend.

Alexina is absolutely amazing. My cat loved her from the moment they met and I knew she was in great hands everyday. Having Alexina made leaving on a vacation a treat for me and my cat. She is ten stars!!!!
So thoughtful, flexible and accommodating! Really glad to have found her to care for my old (grumpy) girl!
Alexina took the best care of our cat Teddy. She was incredibly attentive and caring. She sent lots of pictures, played with Teddy and went above and beyond. We couldn’t have asked for anyone to take better care of Teddy.
Can’t recommend Alexina highly enough! She took such wonderful care of my cat Draco and it was clear from the start that she genuinely understood his personality and needs. Her communication throughout was above and beyond with frequent updates and great photos. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely connects with your cat, and she did exactly that. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a sitter who will treat your cat like their own!
