I am originally from Sioux Falls, SD and just moved back to the Midwest after just over 8.5 years in California. I grew up with a house full of cats and dogs. I moved to California in 2015 and have been house sitting and checking in on friends and coworkers pets since which includes cats, dogs and reptiles. This includes walking, bathing and feeding and the ages ranged from puppy to full grown. I also nannied for a neighbor during 2020 in lieu of her finding a boarder when she had to go back to working in office. I am super outdoorsy and have taken pets to the river or even kayaking. I grew up riding horses and helping around the farm. I love animals and any excuse to take care of them.

Pet care will vary case by case. I generally meet with the owners as needed and go over expectations and follow any requests or needs outlined. If I have any concerns I work with the owners directly.

This is the second time Alexia has stayed at our home and watched our 2 dogs. 100% satisfied again!!! House is spotless, lots of pics sent to us everyday and my outdoor flowers look great. It is so nice to go away and not worry about our house or dogs! Thank you Alexia!!
I’ve left several reviews before so this time I’m just going to say Alexia is the absolute best. I’ve never felt as comfortable with a pet sitter as I do with her. Highly recommended!
Alexia is fantastic! This was the first time we used her to watch our 2 dogs and have already rebooked her for our next trip. It is obvious she loves dogs. She gave us what everyone wants who has a person stay their house and watch their dogs. 1. Lots of daily pictures. 2. Lots of updates and how things are going at home. 3. Lots of love given to our pets. 4. A clean house when we arrived home. It's a stressful time for pets and their owners when there is separation for a week and Alexia made this process very easy. Our dogs Mr. Chow and Nash will be happy to see her again!!
Alex was absolutely phenomenal! She provided excellent communication throughout the entire time she watched our pets—always quick to update us with photos and messages, which gave us total peace of mind. Our animals clearly LOVED her and were happy and well-cared-for when we returned. We can't say enough good things about her warmth, reliability, and genuine love for animals.
