I’ve been caring for and working with dogs for over 6 years, from puppies and high-energy dogs to large breeds and dogs with very different personalities and needs. My professional experience in dog training has given me the opportunity to work with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments, and I’m comfortable handling everything from an energetic walk to a dog who simply wants to relax and have some company. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog as an individual and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m attentive to routines, boundaries, and the little details that help dogs feel at ease in a new environment. Whether your dog loves a long walk, needs some extra patience, or is happiest curled up beside someone, I’m happy to meet them where they are.

For the last 6+ years, Lexy has dedicated her entire career to involving and caring for dogs to the highest extent possible. Animals are her passion and she’s worked with well over 300 dogs with zero negative experiences. All the while ensuring not only their physical/mental needs were met but also ensuring that owners are properly communicated with and feel safe entrusting her with their pets over any duration. Between our dogs and clients dogs, every dog has been cared for as if it is her own. She definitely is great at what she does!
Having a safe and reliable person to leave our dogs with when we go out of town is priceless! Lexy always puts our minds at ease. She has years of knowledge and experience with dogs and it shows. She's great with keeping us updated while we are away and has great communication. We highly recommend her!

Schedule
I work from home every day, so pet care fits naturally into my routine. Dogs staying with me will have someone around throughout the day, with plenty of opportunities for potty breaks, walks, playtime, and attention. I’m also able to keep a consistent routine and give each dog the individual care they’re used to.

I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely get outside for potty breaks and supervised playtime. I prioritize a calm, secure environment and follow each pet’s individual routine, feeding instructions, and house rules. My experience working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments also means I’m comfortable recognizing when a dog needs space, extra supervision, or a little time to settle in. I’m happy to use crates or separate spaces when needed and will always prioritize your dog’s safety and comfort.

A typical day
A typical day with me includes plenty of attention, enrichment, and time outside. Since I work from home, I’m able to spend the day with your dog rather than leaving them alone for long periods. We’ll have supervised playtime in my fenced yard, relaxing time in the house, walks, and plenty of mental stimulation. I also enjoy incorporating simple training and engagement throughout the day to keep dogs happy, fulfilled, and comfortable in a home environment.
