Availability
I volunteer with a pet adoption program Wednesday’s & Friday’s at Pet smart. I have church Sunday morning’s until 1pm. Every other day of my week is pretty open until I am reemployed. I am actively trying to become a professional groomer. I’m working on being CPR/First Aid for cats and dogs. I’m not stranger to family and neighborhood pets and my hands on training with pets is continuous. I plan to always give an update on the areas I grow in.

About Alexia M.
Safety, trust & environment
I’ve only ever nested chickens in my home. I’ve never had a pet, cat or dog, but my home remains clean and well maintained. Very air sufficient as well. There is no negligence in my home. Whenever I’ve pet sat for family, I follow through with the instructions and notes given to me to treat their pets needs. Frequent updates are always made. The home is always how they left it if not better and the fur baby is well taken cared of.
Information Alexia M. would like to know about your pet
Any routines in place. Medications needed and their instructions. Any behaviors to prepare for, prevent or just be aware of. Things you typically may have trouble with. No concern or specific need will be a problem for me. I just value no assumptions. Please lay out what your pet needs from me to insure the best care I can give.
A typical day
I typically like to gauge what the pet is feeling like that day. If it needs an affection or space. I never want to force a pet to do anything or be what they aren’t comfortable with. Whether the pet is having a bad or good day, I will find creative ways to make sure it get fresh air & go potty, to eat and hydrate as instructed. If routines are set in place and I can get them to at least do one or two of those things, that would be amazing. I have no problem investing in toys or treats but if those are provided I will use what we’ve got. If the pet is fine and in pretty good spirits, I’d do the same things but I wouldn’t mind learning new tricks, learning what works and doesn’t work with them. If I’m watching a movie I’d want them to join me. I have my treats and they’d have theirs. I’d play fetch, hide and seek, find the toy or treat or even have a race. With safety precautions in place of course. If naps are needed we will nap with safety precautions in place as well. I love photography so along with the daily picture & video mail, I’d love to take photos of them and things we’ve stumbled upon in our day or hours spent together. Basically I’d be present. They won’t be rushed or mistreated.
