Hi! My name is Alexia and I'm absolutely thrilled to be considered in your search to find pet care for your fur babies! With a lifelong love for animals and a background rooted in farm life, volunteering at animal rescues and petsitting for the past 6 years, I would be honored to have your pets over when you need to be away! I love making my home your pet's home away from home and keeping you updated along the way with pictures, videos and written messages! (Your comfort is as important to me as your pups comfort!) Dogs of all sizes, breeds and ages are welcome provided they are on a monthly flea and tick preventative, well-socialized with cats, small children and other dogs. Over the years, I've developed a deep understanding of pet care, particularly with working, herding, hound and sporting breeds. What began as a childhood passion has evolved into a full-time commitment to nurturing pets and ensuring they thrive in a safe and loving environment. My priority focuses on care tailored to each pet's unique needs. From feeding schedules to administering medications (as needed) and daily exercise, I strive to maintain a routine that mirrors your pet's home environment and unique individual needs. I'm in a state of constant attentive supervision throughout the day to ensure every pet remains happy, healthy, and content throughout their stay. Whether your dog thrives on adventurous hikes through the 300+ acres of fields and trails out back, prefers indoor playtime in our spacious farm shop or enjoys cozy downtime in our home I'm positive your pet will have a great time with us! I do specialize in puppy care with a focus on consistency, redirection, positive reinforcement and essential aspects like reinforced potty training. I completely understand the demands of potty training, food, sleep, play and training schedules of your young one(s) and would be thrilled to partake in their care. Additionally, I'm quite passionate about mental enrichment activities such as puzzle toys to keep the minds of the younger and older pups engaged and stimulated. While I am the main caretaker and responsible individual ensuring your pet's needs are met day to day, my husband, our two young sons, our two Aussies and our ragdoll kitty are integral parts of the home and family experience your pet would be staying in. My husband and our two sons share my passion for animals and actively participate in caring for our furry guests with cuddles, belly rubs, playtime and ensuring every pet feels at home. Your pets feel like family to us as we include them in our day to day life when they visit!
