Pet care experience

Trusted neighbor, friend & Rover.

I have one dog of my own who is 4 years old. She is a husky-pit mix and if you have had either of the two breeds you'd know how challenging they can be. Yet, we manage to live a harmonious life with many complimenting us everywhere we go. I have dedicated myself to learning about training and I am dedicated to doing the best with what I know and learning more so I can do better. I bring this to every exchange I have had with clients trying to understand their dogs better and even received my certification in NEPOPO to continue learning. I can calm and handle even the most misunderstood animals and hope we can work together to give you and your loved one(s) the best life possible.

Alexia is the perfect combination of professional and fun. She is loving, kind, and punctual. There isn't another person I could suggest that could care for anyone's pet more. She's spectacular with both animals and people. You wont regret hiring her to do any job!

Safety, trust & environment

Trust and environment are everything for allowing a dog to feel safe and comfortable. I first like to do a walk through with my clients and their dog to understand any behaviors or needs the client or dog has and then we discuss specific expectations regarding routine, emergencies, home, care & communication.

Pets

A typical day

I love for dogs to get lots of structured mental stimulation. Walks will go through the neighborhood and nearby park, we may run into neighbors who will greet and we will also have lots of games to play at home like tug, fetch, find it, and training/brain games.

Let me know if your dog has a history of biting or being bitten, if they are house broken/potty trained, or if their are any special conditions or you have noticed anything different in their bowel movements, appetite, mood or energy. I prefer to have a dog who is full vaccinated, has their own kennel/crate, and is comfortable with other dogs.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
