Availability

I currently work part-time and keep my Rover calendar updated regularly to reflect my availability. I’m generally available Fridays and Saturdays, and I’m also happy to take bookings on additional days off throughout the week as my schedule allows. I understand the importance of reliability and communication, so I make sure to keep my availability updated week-to-week and only accept bookings I can fully commit to. Whether it’s a scheduled walk, drop-in visit, or last-minute check-in, I aim to provide dependable care and flexibility whenever possible.

About Alexi E.

Safety, trust & environment

I always aim to provide calm, reliable, and attentive care while keeping pets comfortable in their usual routine and environment. During walks, I pay close attention to safety, leash handling, traffic, and each dog’s individual temperament and energy level. I’m also comfortable with active dogs and happy to provide longer walks or runs when needed. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets have fresh water, food if needed, bathroom breaks, attention, and companionship while keeping the home secure and tidy. I value clear communication and provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are safe and well cared for.

Information Alexi E. would like to know about your pet

I’d love to know some basic information about your pet ahead of time, including their personality, routine, likes/dislikes, and anything that helps them feel comfortable and safe. For dogs, it’s especially helpful to know their leash training level, how they typically behave on walks, and what you’d like them to get out of their walks (exercise, structured routine, slower/sniff-focused walks, runs, etc.). I’d also like to know how they behave around other dogs, people, and busy environments so I can make sure they’re handled safely and comfortably at all times.

A typical day

A typical visit or walk is tailored to each dog’s energy level and routine. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, water, and time to feel comfortable and relaxed, whether that’s an active walk/run or a calmer check-in with playtime and companionship. I also like to send owners updates and photos so they know their pet is happy and well cared for.

Calm, Caring & Reliable Pet Care

Pet care experience

I'm a university student spending my summer doing what I love - caring for animals. Between part-time jobs, pet care has become my favourite way to stay connected to animals and earn a little extra, and I bring real enthusiasm to every visit. I've been around animals my whole life. I had my dog for 9 years, and my childhood cat lived to an incredible 21 years old... so I'm completely comfortable with pets of all ages, temperaments, and routines, from high-energy puppies to senior animals who need a gentler touch. Beyond my own pets, I have hands-on experience with drop-in visits and care for other people's dogs and cats. I have a returning client whose cat and dog I've looked after multiple times while they travel. I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I always keep owners in the loop with photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. As an outdoors person who loves walking and running, I'm especially great with active dogs who need real exercise (not just a quick lap around the block). That said, I'm just as happy with a calm check-in, a cuddle session, and a cozy afternoon for pets who prefer it lowkey.

Alexi is incredibly communicative and kind. She always sends thoughtful updates and photos, and my pets are visibly happy around her. I feel completely comfortable leaving my home and pets in her care during my busy schedule.
