I recently started employment outside of providing pet services, so my Rover availability is now very limited and open only to past and current pet families who have booked with me (and are within the city limits of Muscatine). I ask that you do not refer me to any other families at this time, as there is no room in my schedule for new clients.

Drop-ins: 30-60 minutes of visits in your home that include feeding and fresh watering, potty breaks, administering medications, cleanup of accidents, outdoor/indoor play, coat brushing, treats, socializing and lots of snuggles. Dog walking: 30-60 minutes of on-leash exercise in or around your neighborhood (harness preferred for heavy pullers). Please note that I do not offer dog walking services after dark due to safety reasons. Also, we may have to cancel scheduled bookings during inclement weather (extreme heat/humidity and negative temperatures/wind chills causing unsafe walking or driving conditions).

Please let me know in advance if your pets have any specific care instructions, health complications, medications or behaviors. I feel comfortable working with many reactive or fearful animals as long as I am given the transparency, time and space it takes to earn their trust.

My name is Alexandria. I've been surrounded by animals my entire life, and I have a work history that includes: •employment by a veterinary clinic as kennel staff/dog walker •10+ years of in-home dog sitting for a prominent local family •4+ years of animal shelter work I have personal and professional experience in caring for dogs, cats and guinea pigs. With proper instruction, I'm open to working with other animal species as well. My goal is to provide your pet with the care and safety they deserve when you cannot be with them.
