My name is Alexandria, or Alex. I currently work full time at a animal hospital as a vet assistant. In the past I have worked for the Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management. I am a HUGE animal lover and would love to spend more time walking/pet sitting animals. I also have my license and a car. I enjoy spending time outdoors and am a natural resources + forestry graduate so I have rain gear and would love to walk your dog rain or shine! Growing up, I've always had dogs, cats, chickens and fish! I dog/house sit for all of my family members and their friends. Whether you're looking for someone to cuddle up with your dogs or someone to take them hiking, running or to the dog park, I am more than happy to! Why I love dog sitting I love dogs and being outside. I've had experience with all dog breeds. I have also had experience with different age groups, from puppies to seniors. I have experience administering medication by mouth or subcutaneously. I can also take care of household chores, mail, garbage, plants, pool, hot tub, etc. I am able to board dogs that aren't fixed at my house.

Alex is fantastic! We needed a last minute sitter for our rescued Shepherd, and this being our first time leaving her with someone else, we were a little unsure how it would go. Alex was accommodating, communicative and just the perfect fit. Sascha had a blast with walks and playing with the neighbor dog, and we are relieved to find someone in our area that loves and cares for dogs just as much as we do. We are so grateful to Alex for welcoming our knucklehead into her home and will use her services again!
Alex was great! She accommodated our last minute holiday plans and made sure Juniper was comfortable with her. We had photo updates and felt Juniper was having a wonder time! She even drove her home to our house because of the snowy weather! She’s the best, I would definitely recommend Alex to anyone in need of dog care.
Alex was great! My dogs warmed up to her right away and she was very flexible in accommodating us last minute and understanding our needs. My house looked great when I got back and I am very happy!

Schedule
I work 4 8-10 hour days during the week, but for sure have weekends and holidays off to fully take care of your pet(s). I get one day off a week as well. My boyfriend also always has Fridays off and is great with animals. They often love him more than me! We both love animals and they are always treated like a family member.

Safety, trust & environment
I live on 10 acres in Colton, so I have a great area for your dog to run around. The property is mostly fenced, but a dog that likes to run off can easily escape if they wanted to. I don't let dogs outside unsupervised though, especially after dark.

Time I'll spend with your dog Your dog will be with me 24/7, except for workdays. But something we can talk about, let’s make it work! Extra house-sitting services I also like cleaning, so I don't make a mess and clean up after myself. I can also take out trash, get mail, etc.
