Hello everyone, my name is Alexandria and I love all animals, particularly dogs. I have grown up with dogs and cats practically my entire life, raising most of them since they were puppies. I currently have two dogs of my own — Pepper, my 10-year-old Dachshund mix, and Carson, my 8-year-old French Bulldog. Both of my dogs are on the smaller side, so my preference is to watch smaller dogs, as they tend to be the best fit for our home dynamic. I joined Rover to earn additional income, as well as to provide a companion for my dogs to hang out and socialize with. My schedule is pretty flexible, which means I can give your fur baby plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I am looking forward to meeting your little fur baby and providing them with a safe, loving, and fun environment while you’re away!

Alexandria R. is officially invited to the picnic! She did a wonderful job caring for Dakota, and we are already making plans to pre-book her for our upcoming trip in November. She took the time to send regular updates, photos of Dakota adjusting to the new environment, and even a few videos. Those updates were especially helpful and reassuring for my son. I can say without hesitation that Alexandria took excellent care of our pet. In the past, Dakota has usually experienced a period of stress or decompression after returning home from other boarding arrangements. This time, there was no transition period at all. She came home happy, comfortable, and completely herself, which spoke volumes to me about the quality of care she received. Thank you, Alexandria, for taking such great care of Dakota!

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I work part time, which gives me a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the dogs in my care. Because my hours are not rigid, I am able to adapt to just about any routine — whether your dog needs early morning walks, midday check-ins, or a specific feeding schedule, I can make it work. Whatever your dog’s routine looks like at home, just let me know and I will do my best to match it as closely as possible. And if for any reason I am unable to accommodate something specific, I will always be upfront and let you know before booking so there are no surprises. Your dog’s comfort and consistency are always my priority.

When caring for pets, whether in my home or yours, my top priority is making sure your dog feels as comfortable and at ease as possible. I believe in sticking to your dog’s established routine, because familiarity goes a long way in keeping them calm and happy while you’re away. I provide walks in the morning, midday, and in the evening to make sure your pup stays active and gets plenty of fresh air. Feeding is always done according to your dog’s schedule and dietary instructions — I will follow whatever routine you have at home so there are no disruptions to what your dog is used to. I also take the time to understand the individual needs of each dog in my care. Every dog is different, and I want to make sure I’m attentive to their personality, comfort level, and any special requirements they may have. My goal is simply to do my very best to provide a safe, loving, and consistent experience for your fur baby until you return.
Pets
A typical day
There are parks close by with trails that I can take the dogs to when the weather permits it. My apartment complex also has its own dog park, which is a great option for some off-leash fun close to home! Your dog will have my two — Pepper and Carson — to play with, and if your dog loves fetch as much as mine do, we can definitely make that happen too. And of course, not every dog wants to be on the go all the time! If your fur baby just wants to relax and cuddle up, I am totally fine with that as well. Whether it’s active play or a laid-back chill session with me and the pups, your dog will be comfortable, entertained, and loved.
