I’ve been professionally housesitting since 2021 have over a decade of experience caring for dogs and cats. I also foster kittens in my spare time. I have cared for cats and dogs from newborn to 18 years old. People love booking with me because: - I work from home - I care for the pets of (1) family at a time (I don’t have pets of my own at this time but love all animals!) - I don’t have young kids - My location (I’m central to the Long Beach airport, Downtown Long Beach, the Long Beach Cruise Terminal and am on the way for Orange County folks traveling out of LAX)

Alexandria is everything you are looking for in a dog sitter! She is communicative, sends lots of updates/pictures, clearly great with animals and loves hanging out with them. Alexandria took excellent care of my two boys for a long stay, sending me updates and pictures daily. She was very accommodating with our one cat that had a harder time adjusting to the new space and put them both at ease over the weeks. Would definitely book again!

Schedule
I work fully remote from 8am to 5pm, M-F as a project coordinator for a company that offers healthcare and biotech equipment services. Although it’s remote, my job is still pretty demanding so I’m unable to offer more than one walk during those hours (for boarding I always walk my doggo guests before work, on my lunch, after work, and again before bed).

I live solo in a cozy 1 bedroom bungalow in the dog friendly Alamitos Beach neighborhood of Long Beach. My neighborhood is heavily trafficked so for that reason and for the safety of pets, I do not offer off-leash walks and don’t feel comfortable boarding cats who require outside time. I am comfortable (and happy) with cats or dogs sleeping with me when providing housesitting or boarding services.
A typical day
Since my remote job has me sitting all day, I love to walk and hike outside of work hours. I’m more than happy to take dogs hiking with me on dog friendly trails or walking on the beach if those activities are approved by you.
