Hello! I have been around dogs, and owned them, my entire life. Whether your pup is big or small, young or old, I am comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I currently have two friendly mixed breed female dogs who get along well with both dogs and cats. We love going on walks, taking car rides, and spending quality time with our four legged friends. I offer a variety of services, including feedings, medication administration, doggy daycare, drop in visits, walks, and more. I am flexible, dependable, and easy to work with, and I am always happy to accommodate special requests whenever possible. I do have three children, so I ask that any pets staying in my home are comfortable around kids. My children have been raised around animals and understand how to respectfully approach and interact with pets that are not our own. Over the years, I have provided pet and house sitting services for many families, and I have several references who would be happy to speak about my reliability, trustworthiness, and the quality of care I provide. I understand that your pets are part of your family, and I will care for them with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I look forward to meeting you and your canine companion(s)!

My dog Ceasar let's me know when he enjoys his stay when I board him over night. It was clear that he enjoyed his stay with Alexandria and her family. She provided photos to allow us to see first hand that he was okay. He's spoiled and I could tell that he was pampered because when we returned home he was relaxed.

Schedule
As a teacher, I am home for the summer, which allows me to provide plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. Your pup will rarely be left alone, and if I do have any planned outings during their stay, I will always let you know in advance so you can feel completely comfortable. I also keep an extra kennel available for dogs who prefer having a quiet space of their own to relax, nap, or unwind. Whether your dog enjoys being part of the action or appreciates a little personal space, I strive to create a safe, comfortable, and stress free environment where they can feel right at home.

A Typical Day During Your Pet’s Stay Every day is tailored to your pet’s individual personality, comfort level, and routine. My goal is to provide a balance of physical exercise, mental enrichment, relaxation, and plenty of love and attention so your furry friend feels happy and at home while you are away. Mornings typically begin with outside time for potty breaks, fresh air, and some movement to start the day. Depending on your dog’s energy level and preferences, we may enjoy a walk, playtime in the yard, or some interactive games. Breakfast is followed by relaxation time, cuddles, and opportunities to settle in. Throughout the day, I incorporate both physical and mental stimulation to keep your pet engaged. This may include walks, outdoor exploration, supervised play, practicing basic commands, treat puzzles, enrichment toys, and activities that encourage problem solving and confidence building. I also provide opportunities for appropriate socialization, whether that is interacting with my own friendly dogs, meeting new people, or simply experiencing the sights, sounds, and smells of the world around them in a safe and positive way. Afternoons often include more outside time, play sessions, or quiet activities depending on your pet’s needs. Some dogs love to stay active, while others prefer lounging nearby and receiving plenty of affection. I always follow your pet’s cues and make sure they have time to rest and recharge. Evenings include another opportunity for exercise, bathroom breaks, dinner routines, and relaxing together. Whether that means snuggling on the couch, enjoying a calming activity, or settling into their own comfortable space, I want your pet to feel safe, loved, and cared for throughout their stay. My goal is to make your pet’s time away from home a positive experience filled with companionship, enrichment, and the same care and attention I would want for my own pets.
