I have a dog at home named Buddy who is a Golden Labradoodle, and he is my world. I would say I am the primary caregiver for Buddy in my family, as I am the first person to feed him, take him on potty breaks and walks, give him treats, bathing him, etc. Thus, pet care fits naturally in my daily routine.

I care for my dog by making sure he has food and water, taking him on walks, showing him love and giving him treats, bathing him every two weeks, and also going on adventures to the dog park so that he can socialize with other dogs. While I haven't officially pet sit as a job, I have pet sit for family members and family friends many times, and have done a great job.

A typical day
I love to take pets that I watch on walks and to nearby dog parks for some much needed exercise and socialization. I also love playing fetch, tug-a-war and giving them treats!

Pet care experience
I have been taking care of family pets all of my life, but I haven't had experience officially pet sitting. I love animals and helping take care of them, which is why I signed up for Rover, so that I could gain experience and spread that love to other pets. I am also a college student at the University of Oregon, and I recently got back from a study abroad trip and am looking to earn a little extra money this summer.
Reviews
Allie was such a good cat sitter for our three black cats! When we got home, the place looked great and all of our cats were relaxed, well-fed, and had plenty of water. Allie was prompt in communicating and always responded when I checked in on the cats. Definitely recommend and hope to be able to book her again for our next trip (whenever that may be!)
