Hi, I'm Alexandria! I am a dog lover and former fur baby owner with a year of full-time shelter work experience and many years of dog walking/sitting experience with Wag and Rover. I have plenty of experience with door-darters and leash-pullers so they will be no problem for me. I have a fully fenced in back yard for your pup to run and play and a pool if they like to swim. They can also just snuggle on the couch if that's more their speed. I have plenty of room in my house to give any shy dogs some quiet time if need be. I work from home full time so your pup will have plenty of human companionship. That also means I'm very flexible for midday drop-ins. I grew up on a farm and have worked in several different zoological settings. I love animals of all shapes and sizes and can't wait to meet your fluffy best friend!

This is our first time having Alexandria watch our dogs. My older dog can't see or hear much anymore and I get a little over whelmed at the thought of someone else watching my dogs. She was fantastic I got photos and updates and my dogs looked very comfortable with her. I will absolutely use Alexandria again.
Alexandria was wonderful with Sully! It is hard for me to leave him but as soon as we met I knew he’d be very well taken care of - for three whole weeks! She was very communicative and patient with him. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I work from home full time, so I'm very flexible with my schedule. Dog boarding clients will be hanging out with me all day and drop-ins/walks can happen just about any time.

Safety, trust & environment
There is plenty of space for exercise in my backyard so to keep risk factors low, I tend not to take boarding clients on walks. My front porch is fenced for an extra layer of safety in case a pup pushes past the front door. Again, to keep risk factors low, drop-ins for both cats and dogs are never let outside. Additionally I'm always hypervigilant about closing the door behind me, where I leave the mail, etc. Dogs that stay with me must be crate trained and owners must provide their own crate. I crate my own dog every time I leave my house, even if I'm just running a quick errand. For the safety of all my guests, I strongly prefer to do the same for them.
A typical day
My above ground pool is equipped with safety stairs, so any dogs interested in swimming are welcome. I'm always down to play tug or fetch in our yard. And of course playtime with cats is always fun.
