Hi, I’m Alex! I’ve been caring for dogs, especially Border Collies, since 2007 and have built a deep understanding of their personalities and needs. Growing up, I spent countless hours walking my dog, exploring trails, and using those walks as a peaceful escape. This connection to nature and animals has fueled my lifelong love for dogs of all breeds. When my Border Collie became a senior, I was her primary caretaker. From carrying her up and down stairs when she needed help to spending quality one-on-one time with her, I learned how to adapt to a dog’s unique needs at every stage of life. Currently, I live with two family dogs, Skye and Piper, and my cat, Lulu, which has given me even more experience with multi-pet households. I’m very mindful of dog behavior and body language, ensuring they always feel comfortable and safe. Having had dogs that weren’t always social with others, I’m skilled at managing walks and being aware of our surroundings. I always work on a dog’s terms, respecting their boundaries, and letting them come to me when they’re ready. Whether it’s a high-energy pup needing an adventure or a senior dog needing gentle care, I’m here to provide tailored attention and love for your furry friend. I can’t wait to meet your dog and learn more about their personality and preferences!

I will talk with my pets whenever they come into the room. Since I have border collies we are constantly playing with the toys, both inside and outside.

Excellent! Met my boy first and went over everything. He has separation anxiety so she was able to keep him calm (eventually lol. It’s just the breed) He stayed close to her and happy to see pics of him nearby. Was worried about the weather and possible cancellation but she came as promised. No issues.
Alex drove through crazy winter weather to make sure our cats were taken care of. She stayed in touch to let us know if anything went wrong. She's taken care of our crew a bunch of times for us already. Will definitely book again.
Alexandria helped us out with two back to back drop-ins over the holidays. Her communication was excellent and I really appreciated the updates and photos. Thank you so much!
Alex did a great job taking care of my two cats. One cat needed pills every day and she managed to tackle the fussy guy to get him to take his pill. She came by to do twice daily litter box cleanings too and managed to hangout with them for at least a half hour every time. Made sure to brush and play them too.

Schedule
I currently feed and walk my two border collies and cat everyday. My cat likes to come along in her carrier backpack for our daily walks. And of course I give them treats when they are demanded (in moderation).
