I've been around animals my entire life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Although I currently have a cat that I've cared for over the past four years, I've also grown up around dogs and understand the importance of providing them with patience, consistency, and lots of love. I'm currently pursuing my master's degree in social work at the University of Pittsburgh, and I bring the same compassion, responsibility, and attention to detail to pet care that I do in my studies. I know every dog has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to get to know each pet and follow their owner's instructions closely, whether that means energetic walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or sticking to a specific feeding schedule. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away, while giving you peace of mind through reliable communication and regular updates.

At this time, I'm unable to board pets in my own home. However, I'm happy to provide care in your home, where your pet can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. When caring for pets in a client's home, I always respect your space and carefully follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding, walks, medications, routines, or house rules. My priority is making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. I'll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands.

Alexandria was the best - super communicative, flexible and kind. I’m pretty particular with whom I choose to watch my pets and Alexandria proved to be a trustworthy and reliable sitter. Highly recommend.
Alexandria seemed to have a great weekend with my pup! She was very communicative and gave daily updates. When I got home, he was well cared for and my apartment was as clean as I left it. I would definitely book with Alexandria again!

Schedule
My schedule is a bit more structured now that I’m balancing school and work, but I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that works well for both of us! I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays, including overnights when needed. My typical weekly schedule is: • Monday: Working 9 AM–8 PM • Tuesday: Available until 12:30 PM; in class from 1:00–8:20 PM • Wednesday: Working 3-8 PM • Thursday: Working 9 AM–8 PM • Friday: Working 9 AM–5 PM • Saturday: Typically working 11 AM–3 PM • Sunday: Completely open While my schedule is busy with school and work, I’m always happy to communicate ahead of time and see if our schedules line up. I’ll make sure your pet gets the attention, care, and companionship they need!

- I’d love to know about your pet’s personality, routine, and any specific needs ahead of time! Important things to share include their feeding and walking schedule, medications or health concerns, allergies, behavioral quirks, fears or triggers, how they interact with other animals or people, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable and happy. I also appreciate knowing their favorite toys, activities, and the things that make them feel at home. The more I know about your pet beforehand, the better I can keep their routine consistent and provide them with the best care possible!
