Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Since I don't work a traditional full-time job, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. I'm an active runner, so I enjoy spending time outdoors and can provide energetic walks and playtime for dogs who need exercise, while also making sure calmer or senior pets receive patient, attentive care at their own pace. Because of my flexible schedule, I'm able to accommodate feeding schedules, potty breaks, medication routines, and quality one-on-one time throughout the day. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, cared for, and as relaxed as possible while their family is away.

When caring for pets in my client's home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent, comfortable, and stress-free as possible. Before any booking, I prioritize meeting the pet and their family first to make sure we are a good fit. I believe it is important for pets to have the opportunity to get to know me and associate me with a safe, positive experience before I care for them independently. During visits, I follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, medications, and any special instructions from their family. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality—whether they are energetic, shy, playful, or need extra patience and attention. I provide companionship, walks, playtime, and affection while respecting each pet’s individual comfort level. I also treat every home with care and respect, keeping things clean and communicating updates so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are safe, happy, and cared for.

A typical day
I believe pets thrive when they have a balance of physical activity, mental stimulation, and quality companionship. I love creating fun, personalized experiences based on each pet’s personality, energy level, and comfort zone. Activities I enjoy doing with pets include walks, outdoor play, hiking (when approved by their family and appropriate for the pet), and even running with dogs who are comfortable with that level of exercise. I also enjoy engaging in enrichment activities like treat and toy scavenger hunts, puzzle games, and interactive play that keeps their minds engaged. For a special surprise, I love creating supervised pet-safe art activities, such as letting dogs make a unique canvas painting through a mess-free zip bag activity using pet-safe materials. It’s a fun enrichment experience and a memorable keepsake for their family to come home to. Of course, some of the best moments are the simple ones—snuggling, relaxing together, giving belly rubs, and making sure each pet feels loved, comfortable, and cared for while their family is away. My goal is always to make their time with me enjoyable, safe, and filled with positive experiences.

Pet care experience
What sets me apart is the long-term relationships I build with both pets and their families. I've been providing consistent care for regular clients for over four years and have six years of pet-sitting experience. I grew up with both dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I've also worked personally with a professional dog trainer, which has given me valuable knowledge about canine behavior, positive reinforcement, reading body language, and reinforcing good habits. I'm comfortable caring for puppies, helping maintain training routines, and providing patient, attentive care for senior pets. The dog featured in my profile holds a special place in my heart. I've cared for her since she was just four months old, and now she's four years old. Over the years we've built a strong bond, and her family trusts no one else to care for her. I've also developed a close relationship with her family, and I'm grateful for the trust they've placed in me. That kind of lasting connection is what I hope to build with every client. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while giving their owners complete peace of mind. I treat every pet like family and understand how important it is to have someone you can truly trust with their care.
