Pet cares fits intentionally into my weekly routine rather than being squeezed in. I work from home part of the week, which allows flexibility for walks, drop ins, and attentive care, and I prioritize weekends and select bookings so dogs receive my full attention.

Before a booking, it’s helpful for me to know about your pet’s daily routine, feeding schedule, walk preferences, and any training cues they’re familiar with. Please also share information about medications, allergies, medical needs, behavioral quirks, and whether your pet is spayed or neutered. Let me know how your pet does with other dogs, new environments, or time alone so I can tailor care and ensure a safe, comfortable experience.
A typical day
A typical day usually starts with a long walk, followed by some play or light training before breakfast. If your dog has a specific routine you’d like me to follow, I’m always happy to stick to it. On my work-from-home days and weekends, dogs often get an afternoon walk and additional play or enrichment, like “find it” games where treats are hidden for them to sniff out. Evenings usually include a relaxed, sniff-focused walk, some extra one-on-one attention, dinner, and a final potty break before bedtime. When appropriate and with express permission, I also enjoy taking dogs on leashed morning hikes during quieter trail hours. All routines are tailored to each dog’s energy level, needs, and preferences.

I take a calm, thoughtful approach to dog care and treat every dog as an individual. I try to be really attentive to body language and routines. I tailor care based on what owners share and what dogs show me. I have experience with puppies, and multi dog households. Generally, I try to reinforce existing training with positive methods, and communicate clearly with lots of updates and photos of your pup!

Alexandra was awesome! I have never had someone I don’t know watch my dog but she took the best care of him. While I was gone she made sure to send pictures and videos almost every day if not multiple times a day. I would definitely use her again and suggest her to my friends and family!
Barnum and Bailey haven't stopped raving about Alexandra. She kept us posted throughout, and her conscientiousness is much appreciated.
Alex was absolutely great with our pups! She gave them tons of attention while she stayed with them for a weekend including some training, lots of walks, and even a hike! She sent lots of updates/photos and had excellent communication. Will definitely be using her again!
Alex was an awesome sitter! Communication very easy and lots of pic updates. She kept Van busy with walks and enrichment time. Will use Alex again and highly recommend!
