Your Dog’s Home Away From Home 🐾
I have been caring for dogs for over 6 years, and animals have always been a big part of my life. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, and I’m happy to communicate with pet parents in either language. While living in Puerto Rico, I volunteered with a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing and caring for dogs in need. Pet care is now my full-time focus, allowing me to dedicate more time and attention to the pups in my care. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and my goal is to make your pup feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they are away from home. I’m comfortable administering medication when needed and following detailed care instructions to help maintain your pet’s normal routine. Your dog will receive plenty of playtime, affection, companionship, and individualized attention throughout their stay. I intentionally accept only a limited number of pets at a time so I can provide personalized, attentive care to every dog. I am also a pet-care-insured provider, giving pet parents an additional layer of peace of mind while their furry family member is in my care.

Schedule
Pet care is now my full-time focus, allowing me to dedicate my time and attention to the pets in my care. I carefully manage my availability and only accept bookings when I’m able to be fully present and provide the level of care each pup deserves. When your pup is with me, they’ll have plenty of companionship, playtime, walks, affection, and a comfortable environment where they can feel relaxed and at home. I intentionally keep my availability limited so I can give each dog personalized attention and maintain a safe, supervised environment. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, so their routine, comfort, and well-being are always a priority.

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I’ve created a dedicated doggie area in my home that can be safely sectioned off when needed, giving each pup a comfortable space of their own while still allowing them to enjoy the rest of the apartment when appropriate. Dogs are welcome to relax and roam throughout the home with supervision, depending on their comfort level and individual needs. I have crates available for pups who are comfortable using one, but crating is never assumed as part of their routine. Each pup has access to fresh water, their own food and water bowls when needed, comfortable beds, and plenty of toys for play and enrichment. I also enjoy taking dogs on walks and giving them opportunities to explore, play, and stay active while maintaining plenty of time for rest. My goal is to create a safe, calm, and welcoming environment where every dog can feel comfortable and right at home.

A typical day
A typical day includes a balance of companionship, playtime, walks, enrichment, and plenty of time to relax. Since pet care is my full-time focus, I’m able to be present throughout the day and give each pup the attention they need. We’ll enjoy playtime with toys, walks and outdoor exploration when the weather allows, along with potty breaks, enrichment, and comfortable downtime. I also make sure pups have opportunities to rest throughout the day rather than keeping them constantly active. Every dog is different, so I adjust the day around their personality, energy level, routine, and individual needs. Whether your pup loves to play and explore or prefers relaxing nearby, my goal is for them to have a happy, comfortable day that feels as close to their normal routine as possible. 🐾

- To provide the safest and most comfortable experience for your pup, please share as much information as possible about their routine, feeding schedule, medications, allergies, personality, energy level, and comfort around people and other dogs. It’s especially important that we know about any reactivity, fear, resource guarding, separation anxiety, leash reactivity, previous incidents, or behaviors that may affect how your pup interacts with other dogs or their environment. Because we provide small-capacity, family-style care, your pup may spend time around other dogs. Knowing their behavior and comfort level ahead of time allows us to plan introductions carefully, provide appropriate supervision, and create an environment where everyone can feel safe and comfortable. We truly value honesty and transparency. Please don’t worry about your pup being “perfect” — every dog is different, and knowing their needs helps us work with them rather than putting them in a situation they aren’t comfortable with. The more we know ahead of time, the better we can care for your furry family member. 🐾
