All life stages, all needs!
I am experienced, through my own pets, volunteering at the shelter, and pets in my social circles, with pets who have needs! Whether those needs are energy, environment, or medical, I've been there! Dog in a wheel-chair? Cat who needs intravenous meds? Old lady in physical therapy? Young pup? Muzzle? Reactivity? Yes, yup, check! Though I have had pets most of my life, both cats and dogs, most recently, I cared for my dearest pup through her end of life stage, including learning some physical therapy techniques. I also have about 100 volunteer hours over the past year at a dog shelter, primarily focused on socialization of dogs new to the shelter environment, as well as intake processes including medication and vaccines. It would be my pleasure to attend to any special needs your dog might have during their stay, whether that be medications, a routine, massages, or mobility exercises. Experienced walking reactive/untrained/nervous dogs; can provide consistent guidance and patience to build confidence on leash.

Alexandra is a fantastic person! She’s incredibly attentive and experienced. She stayed in our home with our dog and gave us daily updates and photos. When we returned, our dog was so relaxed and our home was exactly as we left it. We look forward to Alexandra’s help in future sittings.
Alexandra was terrific. I had a very good communucation with her, she always responded quickly, and she was very kind and compasionate for Berry. She took very good care of him- this I know from seeing him at pick up and at pictures she shared during his stay with her- he seemed happy and comfortable and welcomed where he was. We would be happy to leave Berry in her trusted hands again on our next trip.
Alexandra was so great with Peggy! Very responsive and I think Peggy enjoyed her place more than mine and was sad to come home! She is very knowledgeable and experienced with animals and both she and her partner were super sweet to Peggy. Would definitely book again!

Alex is amazing and takes such good care of my old ladies. One of them is on a few medications and she gives them timely. She’s so patient with them, plus takes them on several walks and adventures. They probably have more fun with her than they do at home! Definitely will keep coming to her for future stays.

Schedule
Available for up to 2 dogs for daycare during the weeks. I work flexibly from home and have coworkers who are begging for animal guests on virtual meetings! Available for walks between 6:30- 8am - specifically hoping to offer an hour long walk/jog for dogs who need to expend some energy in preparation for their day.

Safety, trust & environment
Daycare/Boarding - Elevator building where elevator would be shared with other dogs. Very responsible and courteous dog owner community in the building, sharing space and boundaries well in the elevator. Dog run available to the building, can be used by one dog at a time, but there would be possible visibility of other dogs in adjacent runs or on the street. Personal balcony available for supervised time in the fresh air throughout the day, afternoon sun for basking! Plenty of toys, beds, and puzzles to keep your pup engaged and comfortable throughout the day. Sitting in your home - Happy to follow all your rules and routines for your dogs safety and comfort. Comfortable to crate, muzzle, follow training schedules, administer meds, etc.
A typical day
I work remotely and quite flexibly, so I can mix the day with walks, time at the dog run, indoor puzzles, active play, or calm and focused attention. My coworkers will love to meet them over video call if they like that kind of thing! On weekends we can take trips in the car to local park preserves and beaches, but always on leash.
