I've taken care of a variety of animals for as long as I can remember, from exotics, to livestock, to dogs and cats. I currently work at a dog training facility as an administrator, and part of my job still requires experience in the managing and care of dogs of all size and temperament. My position at a dog training facility, allows me to bring my own dog in with me as well as add flexibility into my work schedule seeing as I make the employee schedule week to week. I am a highly active person, and go on walks/hike on a daily basis, and would love to bring your dog along with me. My own personal dog is also sociable with other dogs, meaning he is more than happy to keep your dog company! I am always open to setting up a meet and greet beforehand, too.

This was the first opportunity to use Rover and our experience was terrific. Alexandra is a patient and caring, and professional. I received regular photos during my trip to update me on how my pup was doing. I would highly recommend Alexandra and will certainly contact in the future.

Alexandra asked a lot of questions to make sure our dog, Fergus, was well cared for. She sent updates/photos/videos. She was also very mindful about him not eating any toys. Finally, she accommodated a drop off to another sitter because of an extended trip abroad on our end.
Given that this was our first time using the rover app, Alexandra was AMAZING with our 10 week old puppy! She was available at two days notice which we appreciate so much! She made sure to continue his eating/potty/bed time routine. She even offered to give him a bath! We received constant updates and pictures of our Leo! We loved having her as our pet sitter simply because she was so happy to do it❤️ I will continue to book with her & I’m going to be recommending her to all my friends!
Alexandra has an incredibly sweet, loving, and caring heart. She loves animals and will do everything she can to make sure they are happy, healthy, and safe.
Alex is great with dogs and has worked with literally all breeds! She is kind and gentle but stern when needed! We live together with one great dane and one Jack parson and she is great with both!

Schedule
I have always revolved my life around animals. My work engrains pet care into my mindset, and when I come home it's no different. I am familiar with animal behavior, as well as the basics of training. If you have any special routine you'd like to implement with your dog while you're, away I'd be more than happy to do so.

Safety, trust & environment
My own dog is crate trained, and therefore is crated when I have to make errands away from home. I do have A/C in my household, so overheating is not a concern. I make it a point to not let dogs go without a potty break for longer than 4-8 hours at a time, max. Anytime dogs are playing together in my home, they will always be supervised :)

A typical day
Both mental and physical stimulation are important to me! I'd love to know what kind of training you are working on with your dog at home, so I can continue that while you're away and keep your dog engaged. I'd also love to take your pup on car rides to get puppucinos (so long as there's no sensitivities/allergies), and walks around the neighborhood or down to the river.

- Please let me know if your dog has any allergies, medications, or food sensitivities. It's also important that I know if there's anything your dog is sensitive to environmentally- whether that be other dogs, people, fireworks, etc. I never want to put your dog in a situation that'll make them feel unsafe or fearful. Also please let me know if your dog has any kind of separation anxiety, or if they chews up toys/bedding when left alone. Lastly any emergency contact information or vet contact you'd find useful would be appreciated :)
