Ready to love your pets like my own
I've owned and loved a variety of pets in my 50+ years including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, horses and even a mouse! I have experience with rescues and nervous animals, puppies/kittens and senior pets, have a reliable vehicle for transport or emergencies, and can administer meds if needed. I am energetic and fit, so I love long walks with the pups whether on the trails, at the beach or just in the park down the street. I've been house and pet-sitting for friends for many years and I love caring for animals, they bring me so much joy with their unconditional love.

Here's a warm and positive Rover review you can use: Alexandra was fantastic with Azstra! She took great care of her and made sure she was comfortable, happy, and well looked after throughout her stay. We had some unexpected schedule changes on our end, and Alexandra was incredibly accommodating, understanding, and flexible, which we truly appreciated. Most importantly, Azstra clearly enjoyed her time with Alexandra and came home happy and relaxed. It gave us great peace of mind knowing she was in such caring hands. We would happily book with Alexandra again and highly recommend her to other pet parents!
Alexandra took great care of our 3 cats over a weekend, providing some updates and photos along the way. She was responsive during the Rover setup process and attentive to learning our cats needs during our meet n greet/orientation. Would recommend her services to others with no reservations.
Alex was great when she took care of my dog and another dog I was dog-sitting at the time. She arrived on time exactly when she said she would and kept me up to date on how things were going while she stayed with the dogs overnight. She was very fast to respond to my text messages and even sent me a great photo of the dogs napping. They were totally at ease under her care. I have also seen Alex with dogs at a local dog beach and she is always in control, attentive to them and clearly cares about them as though they were her own. I will absolutely ask Alex to care for my dog again!
Alex is the best pet sitter! She really loves animals, and it's obvious by how much she cares about them. She has looked after my cats many times over the years, and they really like her. And I really like that she sends regular updates while I'm away.
Alex is an animal lover through and through. She has often taken care of my dog, Honey, and I have complete peace of mind whenever she’s staying with Alex. It’s clear how comfortable and happy pets are with her, and Honey pulls towards Alex and wags her tail whenever we see each other. Alex has taken care of my tabby "boys" for more than 15 yrs, I can't thank her enough. Harmonogram
I'm currently between jobs, so I'm home every day, and have lots of time to share with your fur babies. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and can tailor it around the needs of the animals in my care.

Generally I'm home all day - for morning, mid-day and evening walks, and potty breaks during the day. If that's not the case or if I need to run out for some reason, I can either leave your pet in my apartment in our out of their crate, or have a friend come over to watch them. In your home, I'm happy to do as much or as little as you need, though I prefer not to stay overnight, I'm available from morning until late at night to visit, or stay, as required.

I’m an exercise nut myself, so I love to give dogs as much time as they need to run and play, whether off-leash or on. I’m a frequent visitor to the UBC trails and dog beaches, and also to the roads and trails at Southlands. Plenty of time to sniff, stretch their legs and just be a dog! But always under my watchful eye and responsible care. When we are at home, your pets will be allowed to roam around my place and make themselves comfortable. Feeding is done according to their normal schedules.
