I was born and raised in Canada, and after spending my whole life there, I recently made the big move to the UK! It’s definitely been a huge change, but one thing that hasn’t changed is my love for animals. I’m excited to be settling into my new home here and getting back to doing something I’ve always loved. I’m looking forward to meeting lots of new furry faces and becoming their trusted person while their humans are away. I've had a big passion for animals all my life. In my care they would be treated like royalty. For I would provide them with the best quality of care I can offer. The services I provide would be: Long walks, play dates, special trips to parks and forests, hiking, house-sitting, snuggles and a lot of T.L.C! I am able to keep track of any specific needs for your pet(s). I have over 15 years of experience working with animals as small as hamsters to as big as horses. I can also be able to provide grooms upon request for those dirty pups that decide to roll in the mud and just need a good bath, brush, nail clip and trim. For I am a certified groomer who has been grooming for over 10 years. For these reasons I will provide the best care for your pet(s)!

When caring for a pet in their own home, I treat both the pet and their home with the same respect I would want someone to show mine. I was a Scout back in Canada and still follow the Scout Laws, especially being trustworthy, respectful and doing the right thing even when no one is watching. At the moment, I’m unable to offer daycare or overnight stays at my own home, so my focus is on caring for pets in their own home where they are already comfortable and familiar with their surroundings. Your pets are my biggest priority while they are in my care. I follow their normal routines as closely as possible, including feeding, playtime, walks, cuddles, medication or any other specific instructions you provide. I take the time to get to know each pet and what makes them comfortable, rather than expecting every animal to be the same. I am also very respectful of your home. I leave everything exactly as I found it and only use or touch things that you have specifically provided or given me permission to use. I’m there for your pets, not to treat your home like my own. If you happen to need something small done while you’re away, such as watering your plants, I’m more than happy to help with that too. My goal is for you to come home to happy, well cared for pets and your home exactly as you left it.

Alexandra, is so understanding and amazing with our pup Rosie. As a rescue, Rosie can have a hard time warming up to new people but Alexandra’s experience and expertise makes her the best choice to visit Rosie during the day. We can’t thank Alexandra enough for being so understanding of our pup’s needs and for being so communicative with us throughout her visit☺️

Schedule
I’d be honest about not having another fixed position yet, but frame your availability as a positive. The important part is showing that you don’t overbook yourself and that your petsitting commitments come first once you accept them. Something like this would fit your existing profile style: At the moment, I am studying online part-time, which gives me quite a bit of flexibility with my schedule. I don’t currently have another confirmed position, so I am able to work pet care around my routine rather than trying to squeeze animals into an already busy schedule. I’m very particular about making sure I have enough time for every animal I take care of. I would never accept a booking or take on a pet if I couldn’t give them the time, attention and care they deserve. Every pet has different needs, and I would always make sure I can properly accommodate their routine before accepting a booking. My schedule is flexible, and I’m happy to work with owners to find what works best for them and their pets. Once I commit to caring for an animal, they are my priority while they are in my care.
