Information Alexandra P. would like to know about your pet

I have experience handling dogs who suffer from major food allergies, diabetes, and have behavioural challenges such as resource and food guarding. It is important for me to know any challenges I may be faced with while watching your pet. Not everyone uses the same commands: Down/Off, Come/Here, Drop it/ Leave it. Let me know what your pet is most familiar with. English is my primary language but I can also provide commands in French. I am happy to provide a meet & great assessment free of charge to new clients.

A typical day

Most of the dogs I care for eat twice a day. I like to start with a meal and some light outside play, because I believe that mornings are best for mental stimulation. After a good run outdoors we move inside where I utilize a more hands on training approach customized to each dog’s personality traits. More active dogs receive a one hour neighborhood walk or a hike along forested trails.

She accepted Harley on very short notice, which I really appreciated. She’s incredibly flexible whenever I need to change his walking time, and she’s also been so helpful in sharing tips and tricks to help with Harley’s separation anxiety. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with, and I feel very comfortable leaving Harley in her care. Highly recommend!
