Safety, trust & environment

I have a lot of experience house sitting for clients. I generally ask that the owner list out their preferences and guidelines. I’ve observed throughout the years that respecting a pets routines and keeping them in their preferred environment results in happiness and safety for all.

Information Alexandra N. would like to know about your pet

I generally ask that pet parents fill out a simple guide so I can best care for their animals. The information requested is generally about diet restrictions/preferences, feeding times, any known medical issues, if applicable medication schedules and best way to administer, walk routines, indoor/outdoor, if applicable commands that your pet might know, pet personalities, favorite toys and vet information. This makes it so everyone feels safe, happy and it not only gives you peace of mind but also helps me give quality care to your furry friends.

A typical day

A typical day is generally specific to your pet’s routines! It really helps with stress levels as well as separation anxiety. Some households and pets are more active and I love going on excursions, runs, walks, parks and etc. But I also understand and have taken care of pets that can be very reactive, have medical conditions, or are older that need more controlled outings or no outings at all but instead backyard play. Every home is different and every animal is different and I am acutely aware and extremely adamant about tailoring my care to your pets needs.

Pet care experience

I am extremely passionate about pet care. My mother has been a dog walker/sitter for 10 years. Therefore animals have been a huge part of my life. I have now been taking care of dogs as well as cats on and off for about 8 years. I have taken care of puppies seen them grow into adults and even taken care of them on their final days. I have taken care of dogs with specific medical needs as well as dietary needs (insulin shots, multiple medication schedules, vet visits etc) I am very diligent with instructions. I am physically active and understand that exercise is very important to a dog's happiness. I love and respect every pup's unique personality and requirements. I have very flexible availability. I lead with integrity, responsibility, attention, consistency and kindness (towards both two and four legged beings alike). I happily provide updates of your pet's well being, knowing that your furry friend's safety and happiness are of upmost importance. I am reliable, enthusiastic, and above all an animal lover.

Sasha watched our blind dog, Iris, while my wife and I were out of town and did such an amazing job! She was very responsive and consistently updated us with photos. She communicated every time Iris got her medicine and when she went out to go potty. It was such a relief knowing that our dog was in great hands. We’ll be using Sasha again in the future and would definitely recommend her for your dog-sitting needs.

If leaving your fur babies makes you anxious, hire Sasha! We have three quirky dogs. One is a nervous rescue that we hadn’t been able to leave, and another is suspicious of all strangers! Sasha put in the time to transition our dogs to become familiar with her. She has a friendly, calm demeanor and takes everything at their pace to help them feel comfortable. She works hard to create an atmosphere of familiarity by keeping their activities and structure as close as possible to their normal daily routine. Without a doubt, the messages, pictures, and videos showed that our dogs were happy and fulfilled and had truly come to trust and enjoy Sasha’s company. We will not hesitate to reach out to her for future house sitting and heartily recommend her to others!

Alexandra (Sasha) was the absolute best! Our senior dog and younger but anxious dog both loved her. It was the first time that we had a sitter stay at our house and we're extremely happy to have hired Sasha. Our senior required special care due to a slipped disc and Sasha handle everything flawlessly. She’ll be our go-to sitter for all future bookings. Thank you so much!
