I have over seven years of hands-on pet care experience, including working in a busy doggy daycare and managing both a cattery and daycare facility. Throughout my career, I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness at all times. I’m deeply passionate about animal wellbeing, which extends into my personal life as well—I share my own beloved golden girl with my husband, and caring for her has further strengthened my understanding of the love, patience, and responsibility pets deserve.

Alex was recommended to me by a friend. Jimmy's second stay with Alex was for 9 days whilst we were on holiday. Alex sent us photos and videos of his daily activities and I felt totally reassured that he was in safe hands and that he was having a wonderful time. He had lots of adventures with Tally, Alex's dog, including racing up and down the beach and going to an enclosed field where they could both tire themselves out in a completely secure environment. He also went to a local dog show where he won first prize in the sausage eating competition. Jimmy can be quite bossy and mischevous, but Alex was confident in managing any challenges and treated him as if he was her own dog which, again, is very reassuring. Jimmy had a great week and I feel lucky that we have found his home from home with Alex and Patrick! I cannot recommend her services highly enough. Thank you Alex!!
Brilliant, as always
Alex walked our 6yr old husky for an hour along with her own dog, Tally. Alex is clearly experience around dogs which shows in how well behaved her own dog is. She asked all the right questions to ensure the walk would be enjoyable for all three of them and Loki certainly looked like he had enjoyed himself when he came back. Will definitely be using Alex again, particularly the doggy day care where he will be able to run round with his new friend.

My golden doodle, Jimmy, had an overnight stay with Alex in her home. I was very happy with the service she provided. She is clearly an experienced dog sitter and was very attentive to all of his needs. She sent us texts, a video and photos so that I knew Jimmy was behaving himself, which was very reassuring. When I arrived to collect Jimmy, he was stretched out on her windowsill, enjoying the sunshine, and was very relaxed. I would highly recommend her as a dog sitter and we have booked Jimmy in to spend 9 days with her in September. I can now look forward to my holiday and feel confident that my dog will be absolutely fine and well looked after by Alex whilst we are away.
Our very lively labradoodle seems to have had a great holiday! He's obviously been really well cared for and has had lots of attention and some great walks. We would definitely choose Alex to look after him again.

Schedule
I currently work at a doggy daycare three days a week, from Tuesday through Thursday. This gives me full availability on Mondays, Fridays, and weekends, allowing me to offer flexible and reliable pet care during those times. I’m happy to accommodate a variety of schedules and provide attentive care whenever your pet needs it most.

I tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs and routine, whether in my home or a pet owner’s home. I focus on maintaining familiar schedules for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I provide plenty of attention, enrichment, and affection, while also prioritizing safety, cleanliness, and calm handling. In a pet owner’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions closely, keeping the environment tidy and ensuring pets feel relaxed and well cared for in their own surroundings.

A typical day
On my days off, I dedicate my time to providing structured and enjoyable walks tailored to each dog’s needs. Walks include safe leash handling, appropriate pacing, and opportunities for sniffing and mental stimulation. I ensure dogs get proper exercise while reinforcing good walking manners, offering water breaks as needed, and giving plenty of positive attention. After each walk, I check paws, refresh water bowls, and provide updates to owners so they feel confident their dog is happy, exercised, and well cared for.
