I have been watching and taking care of friends/family dogs for years and have raised my own since he was a 8 weeks old. I can clip nails, bath give ear/eye treatments if ever needed.

Alex is a caring, responsible and patient dog mom who I trust with my dog any day. Not only does she enjoy taking care of dogs (walking, feeding, etc) she is great at making dogs like mine (who can be anxious in new settings or around other dogs) feel comfortable and even get them to open up and play. You can automatically tell Alexandra is a responsible pet caregiver when you see her with her own dog. Her actions and decisions are always for the benefit of the dog and never for her own self gratification. This trait also carrys over to her care with friends and family.
Alexandra is a pet lover and dog owner herself who cares for animals as if they are her own children. Alexandra is always very organized when it comes to feeding and walking times for her own dog and makes sure to meet the needs of her sister’s dog when she cares for them at the same time and blend their routines into one. In addition to her diligence to pet routines, she is very affectionate and loving to animals. She always maintains order with her pets, but is gentle and kind and never uses forceful discipline. I would absolutely trust Alexandra with my dog.

Schedule
I work remotely from home for the most part and would only accept to care if I am home that day. I have a 30 lb Klee Kai mix at home who would accompany your pet on walks/play time and naps.

Safety, trust & environment
Walks would be about every 2-3 hours for potty breaks. For extra outdoor play time we could go out on the large patio on my floor. Pets are allowed to hang out and nap on couch

A typical day
During relaxation time, I love to put on youtube "Dog TV" for my dog while he relaxes with a bone on the couch. We love to run around and play with toys in the apartment. When the weather is nice we play out on the pateo as there is a lot of room to run around and throw ball. If you are open to it, I am about .7 mile walk to the dog park under the bridge in Astoria. I love to take my dog there to burn off some energy!
