Hi everyone! I’m a very passionate animal lover with plenty of experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, and various small animals. I own a Boxer, Jack Russell mix, and a cat, so I love working with all sizes and energy levels! I love going on walks, running around the yard, or just hanging out doing their daily routine. I have a strong background training basic behavior, leash work, reactivity issues, and high prey drive. I’m very knowledgeable in breed behaviors, including understanding the needs of various working breeds and the energy they need to expend. One of my biggest concerns I help with is helping clients with constant updates, as I understand I’m new to you and your pets, so I’ll work hard to make sure you feel they are getting the best care! I really like to tailor care to each individual, so just let me know if you have any specific needs with your pet!

I really try to help reassure clients, especially new ones, of the well-being of their pet. I bring a form to make sure we have all their specific needs written down, including their current veterinary information if the worst case scenario happens and they need vet attention.

In a word, Alex was fantastic, wonderful, the best dog sitter we have ever had in 10 years of working with different sitters. Okay so that’s more than a word — it’s a whole bunch of words, but all of it applies! She sent tons of pictures and videos every day, and it was obvious that our dogs loved her. They would’ve been fine with us not coming back and having Alex instead. Not only was she wonderful to our dogs, our house was spotless when we got home. She also left a bag of dog treats and toys for our dogs, and she spent a ton of time every day walking them and playing with them and giving them scratches. And she even bathed and dried them because they got wet while walking, and she didn’t want them to smell like wet dog when we got home. She truly thought of everything and was so obviously wonderful to our dogs. We did not worry about them a single minute the entire time we were gone. If I could give her a 1 million star rating, I would. You will be thrilled with her if she watches your animals while you’re gone. She truly was a blessing, and we are so glad we found her. You will be too.

Schedule
I work full-time on Rover now, so I’m readily available to accommodate your pet’s needs! I offer both normal house-sitting (overnights) and constant care rates depending on what you would like. Let me know if you have any specific needs for your pet, and I’d be more than willing to help out.

- I think it’s extremely important to know a pet’s behavior around new people and smells. If I’m caring for your dog, I want to ensure that they are comfortable with me before I try to engage in a bunch of play or exercise. It’s also important to know any health concerns or physical limitations, as well as medications.
