I am not available in the mornings unless I am taking care of them across multiple days. I am available in the afternoon and evenings both during the week and weekends.

I am not able to keep your pets in my home because I have a very non-friendly cat. However I am more than happy to spend an afternoon with them at the park, take them on a short walk, or just stop in to make sure they are doing ok. I am also able to stay at your home or check on your pets multiple times per day if you will be out of town.

A typical day
Activities I choose will depend on their personality but the goal is to ensure they are comfortable enough to play and rest while I am around. Getting them moving and keeping each day interesting is they key to a happy pet so I like to try and come up woth something new each day. There is a large nature park near my house where I can take them on nature walks or we can stay closer to home and create treat puzzles in empty boxes or ice trays to keep them moving indoors. If your pets are shy or more relaxed we can still find little bits of enrichment while giving them their space, like brushing them, teaching them simple tricks that dont take much movement, or just relaxing with them on the couch!

I've been taking care of my families pets as well as the pets of my friends, and neighbors since I was a kid! We never had less than three animals in the house and would always watch over our neighbors pets when they were gone. I have also worked as a pet sitter for many other families in a more professional setting. Taking care of animals isnt always clean or easy but its worth it to me to see them happy. I do my best to treat your pets like family knowing that I would want the same treatment for my cat when I rely on someone to watch her!

Alexandra is a very kind and motivated person who loves animals. I have a cat that lives with us and she is always willing to help and when accidents happen there is no frustration just a "it happens" and we clean up.
