How do I care for pets in my home ? I don’t currently board any animals. How do I care for pets when in a clients home ? When I’m at a clients house I always make sure to secure all exits so no accidents happen, I like to ask what places are off limits for animals and if cuddling is okay because it’s okay with me!
Information Alexandra L. would like to know about your pet
Any triggers, medications, medical conditions. What leash he or she may prefer, where the poop bags or any treats are kept so we can make the walk as enjoyable as possible.
A typical day
I like to check with clients to see what paths they prefer I take but most of the time I will also let the dog lead the way, if it’s decent weather I’ll try to get a jog in. If your dog enjoys puzzles we can do some enrichment activities, toss a ball or tug of war.

Pet care experience
-Currently not offering boarding - Hi there, I’m Alexandra! Originally from Miami, I’ve had all kinds of pets from cats & dogs to 🐍 and 🦅 , I even had a chinchilla once! I have previously adopted American bulldogs/bully breeds and enjoy the company of large dogs. That doesn’t go to say I don’t love small dogs, I love all animals equally! I have two cats at home and have been told I’m quite the cat whisperer. I enjoy sharing pictures & videos with owners so they can always be updated. I like to ask questions so I know what your furry family likes best. *currently not offering recurring walks* House sitting: hours are usually from 10pm-10am or 11pm-11am next day. A walk when I arrive and a walk in the morning is guaranteed. A mid-day walk may be included but is not guaranteed. However, special accommodations and additional walks are accepted. Feel free to let me know what your family needs and I’ll be happy to accommodate as discussed.

Reviews

We love Alex! She is so responsive to any and all messages. She takes care of our "baby" (Henry) like he was her own.

Always a great experience, Alexandra takes great care of our pups!

Alexandra was amazing! Super sweet, helpful, and a quick responder. Can’t wait to use her services again!

This was our first time using Rover for our 4-month-old kittens, and Alexandra was absolutely perfect for the job! She was thoughtful, attentive, caring, and communicative during her check-in visits over the weekend. We loved receiving photo and video updates, which reassured us that our babies were being loved, played with, and kept on their routine while we were away. We’re so grateful to have her nearby for future trips!!
