Hi there! I'm Lexi. A passionate pet aficionado offering reliable drop-in visits and dog-walking services. Here's what you need to know about me: * I'm located in North Beacon Hill, just off the I-90, with quick access to Eastside, South Seattle, and downtown. * For walks and house visits, I will drive up to 10 minutes away once a day. For those who are closer, I can come twice a day. * I love to walk (almost as much as your dog!) and can do up to 60-minute walks. * I only walk with one dog at a time, unless they are part of the same household or have walked together before. * Your pup should be well-mannered and leash-trained if they are larger. If you’re working on leash training, let me know what methods you’re using so I can help maintain consistency on our walks, too. * I never allow on-leash greetings with other dogs. When I'm walking, it's me, your pup, and the walk that matters—with breaks for sniffing, of course! * For house visits, I will do the usual food and water checks and also take time to play and offer lots and lots of pets for your dog or cat. Now for the fun stuff: I grew up surrounded by family dogs and was usually their main caretaker, trainer, and companion. I have also done the occasional cat care for friends and family. With this experience in hand, I have a great sense of responsibility and love for animals. As a pet sitter and walker, I pride myself on not only being a helpful hand in keeping your pets happy and fed but healthy and safe, too.

Safety, trust & environment
For dog drop-in visits at your home: - I will always check that the yard is properly secured before letting them out and keep an eye on them while outside. - I am very rigid about locking doors, so you can rest assured your house is secure whether or not I'm there. - I will do a quick walk-through of the areas the pet has access to make sure there are no accidents or items being chewed on that shouldn't be. Any messes will be cleaned up immediately. - If I have multiple clients in a day, I will make sure to leave enough time between visits to take care of any unforeseen problems. - I do ask that you please communicate about any other people who may be present during the drop in. For dog walks: - I only walk one dog at a time and will not bring along a human walking companion/helper without asking you first. - I don't allow introductions to other pets we cross paths with while on-leash. I don't go to dog parks ever. - I'm mindful of excessive heat and cold, depending on the dog. So if the weather is not good, we'll keep the walks short or just play in your yard (if you have one). For cat clients: - If your cat is an escape artist, my top priority is ensuring my entry and exit from your home is safe and controlled. - I am on the lookout for any odd or unusual behavior, pointing to health problems. - I always let my cat friends come to me and tell me what they want or need from our visit. If it's just food and water, that's okay! If they want pets and snuggles, I'll be on it! - I will always clean up any messes I find during my visit, provided you have the appropriate cleaning supplies. For ALL clients: - I ask all clients to please provide at least 1 emergency contact number.

Schedule
I am currently working from home, with a very flexible schedule. I have access to a reliable vehicle and can come to you almost any day or time as long as you're within a 10-15 minute drive from me. I'm an early riser and work out daily, but I can adjust around your schedule as needed! My current schedule does not allow me to take clients after 3pm.
