I am an active duty Animal Care Specialist for the US Army. I have been in for 4.5 years and recently returned from a mission in the Pacific Islands where I was responsible for the health and welfare of over 850 animals (dogs, cats, and livestock) across the span of 5 months. My skills include typical veterinary technician skills, such as blood draws, catheter and endotracheal tube placement, surgical prep, anesthesia monitoring, vaccinations, anal gland expression, nail trimming, animal husbandry, etc. I have taken care of my own pets since the age of 12, and I will care for your loved ones as if they are my own! I haven’t been on Rover long, but I’ve been pet-sitting/dog walking for over four years.

Alex was so great!! She was super flexible with my booking being short notice. She was very responsive and sent me daily photos of my two babies. I felt comfortable being away for a couple days knowing my two were being taken care of by her. I’ll definitely be rebooking with Alex! ⭐️
Alexandra was amazing! Everything my pets needed she made sure they had. I even forgot to leave an extra spring water for them and when I got home, I saw that she went and got another one. I was sent photos and/or short videos of my pets daily just to provide peace of mind for me. I am so incredibly thankful to her for being able to sit my pets on such short notice; there was a death in my family and had to go to FL. I highly recommend Alexandra for your furbabies!
This was my first time booking with her and I would definitely do it again. She followed through on her promises and I didn’t have to text her once asking how the pets are because she kept me updated, which was such a relief. One my my cats who is usually slow to warm up came out the first night and slept in the bed. I could tell from the pics and when I got home they all got lots of love and attention! Her schedule was flexible which is helpful. It’s hard to find not only someone who will do what you ask, but to provide comfort in that as well and she nailed it!
Alexandra has been my go-to pet sitter for over 3 years. I have an extremely rambunctious and mischievous 2 year old Lab and Alexandra is truly one of the ONLY people I can trust to watch her for more than a few hours. She follows all of my slightly “helicopter mom” instructions and takes care of my girls exactly how I would. She always sends me pictures of my babies when I’m out of town, and you can tell she truly loves my animals. She also has experience in veterinary medicine, so I’m confident that my animals are in the best hands when I’m gone, and that Alexandra will notice any major health issues. Absolutely 11/10 would recommend to anyone!!! Your pets will be taken care of and loved like her own.

Availability
I am a full time Soldier, but I am able to go home for lunch and I am at work no later than 1700 weekdays. I am free most weekends and would love to spend them with your furry best friends! I am open to staying in your home during the weekdays as well.
