Trustworthy dog lover based in Hove
Hi, I'm Alex - a 32-year-old freelance producer who primarily works from home. For as long as I remember I've loved dogs. It's a running joke in my family that no one loves them more than me. Having grown up with Irish Setters and horses, I've been around dogs my entire life and consider them to be the purest form of joy I've yet experienced! Aside from this, I frequently look after friends and neighbours dogs and love taking them to local beaches and parks for walks, as well as my local co-working space, if suitable. I am also experienced in house sitting dogs and cats and love taking dogs on long walks in the countryside to keep them stimulated and tired at the end of the day. Having recently moved to Hove and bought a three bedroom house with a garden (fenced and very safe), I am keen to share my space and provide a safe and happy place for dog owners to send their dogs to when they need them looking after. I'm open to short or long stays and even day sittings in my house as well. Please do get in touch with any questions. Happy to provide photos of my home and garden, and of course for any dog to come round and meet me before staying so they get used to the smells and environment.

Alex looked after Lefty so well, and I couldn't recommend her enough. She took him for walks on the beach, played ball with him, and I'm sure he had the best time as he loved her from the first moment. She also kept us updated with his photos and videos while we were away. Lefty will definitely be back! Thank you so much!
Alex looked after my Rough Collie, Ella. She's getting older but Alex was great with her, and Ela took to her very naturally which is always good to see! It's comforting to know that Alex is there should I need to hand over Ella again - and I know I will!

Schedule
I'm currently in a low period of freelance work and have much more spare time in the day for the next few months. I work remotely most of the time and occasionally work in a dog friendly co-work space called Platf9rm. I am able to work from home in my own house with a dog, but also take it for walks much more during the day. I like to be active and outdoors as much as I can and any dog I care for is also able to have free rein of my garden, which is walled and secure.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a walled garden which is super safe and secure and it's a big enough space for any dog to run around, chill, or have a snooze in the sun. I have a desk in the living room space which opens up into the kitchen, so when working from home would always be around the dog. I love nothing more than watching TV and curling up with a dog. I'd be happy for the dog to join me on the sofa with a blanket.
