Growing up we always had dogs and cats. I spent a lot of time with relatives who had more “exotic” pets ranging from degus to a Mali Uromastyx lizard not to mention the short-tailed opossum and various other small mammals. All this has contributed to making me an animal lover totally comfortable around them all! While still in high school I had the privilege of volunteering at a local wildlife refuge where I was responsible for the care of a wide variety of animals ranging from squirrels to owls and even foxes! During college I spent a summer working at a doggie day care center where I was responsible for both walking the dogs and supervising indoor play time. More recently I have been dog sitting both at my home as well as house sitting for families with pets and am eagerly looking forward to expanding this aspect of my work using this Rover app.
