I am retired and looking to share my many years of dog ownership after losing my best friend recently. Missing the walks and the hugs and those special times that only dogs can give. Nice big home set in a countryside location and no other pets/children or other distractions. Experience with border collies, spaniel’s, senior care and nervous dogs.

Would put more stars if we could ❤️ Alex and Chris looked after our pride and joy, 11 month old border collie just like we knew they would. Jota has had a great time, lots of pictures of him enjoying himself. We were immediately put at ease by a lovely couple and we did not worry once about if he would be well looked after because we knew he would. Lots of questions asked so they knew him and the family and they treated him like their own. Would highly recommend and Jota will be a frequent visitor in the future. I can’t thank Alex enough for looking after Frankie, she has been absolutely amazing and it’s been such a relief to find someone as genuine and caring! From the initial first meeting that shone through, the care and interest she showed in knowing not only the breed but his little quirks to ensure he was happy and comfortable was fabulous! Also the daily updates and pictures of their adventures whilst we were away was lovely. Couldn’t recommend her enough! Big thanks to you all again and we will see you soon!
Alexandra and Chris were absolutely fantastic looking after our dog, Harley, while we were away in Cardiff for a few days. From the moment we dropped her off, we knew she was in safe and caring hands. They kept us updated throughout our trip with regular messages and lovely photos, which gave us real peace of mind and allowed us to relax knowing Harley was happy and well looked after. It was clear she was getting plenty of attention, care, and affection. We couldn’t have asked for better sitters, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with Alexandra and Chris again. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for kind, reliable, and trustworthy people to care for their dog. Thank you both for taking such great care of Harley!
Alex is an animal lover through and through, her caring nature and devotion paid off when we adopted a very nervous rescue border collie. She devoted time, patience and care to provide a loving home to Daisy for over ten years. Alex now wants to use the experience gained over these years to provide a holiday home from home for your pets, with access to miles of country lanes and a pet free house for exclusive care.

Schedule
I have recently retired and am able to accommodate my time to the care of dogs. If I have committed to looking after your dog(s) they will receive full care and attention throughout their stay.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a large house with a paddock for excercise at home and access to many country walks. I have a car and am familiar with transporting dogs if allowed for days out at the beach etc. Your dog would reside in the home with me and my husband, Chris. I am also experienced with walking dogs on a long lead so they can exercise whilst remaining secure.
A typical day
Lots of play and walks in the local area but bespoke to each individual dog depending on their normal activities/routine as advised by the owner.
