I have experience walking and caring for family and friends' dogs for several years now. I grew up around multiple cats and dogs as a child, and my mom was a Veterinary Technician so I witnessed a variety of medical care, basic grooming, and training skills that I can practice when caring for other people's pets. For example, my grandma's dog that I frequently watch and take on walks is severely allergic to bees, and I was shown how to perform an injection of her allergy medicine in case of an emergency. Similarly, our cat growing up was diabetic so I feel confident in administering insulin injections as well.
