Availability
I’m available for early‑morning visits and walks before my classes begin at 8 AM. I also have a lunch break from 12–1 PM and I can do walks or drop‑ins during that time. After 5 PM, I’m fully available for evening care. I’m also free most weekends and have open availability over the summer.

Safety, trust & environment
I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and predictable environment for every pet. In a client’s home, I follow your routines closely — feeding schedules, walking routes, medication instructions, and any household rules your pet is used to. I always double‑check doors, gates, and leashes to make sure pets stay secure, and I take time to help them feel comfortable with me before we head out for a walk or settle in for a visit. With my veterinary background, I’m attentive to behavior, stress signals, and overall well‑being. I keep a close eye on how pets are feeling, and I’m comfortable handling medications, special needs, and shy or nervous animals. My goal is to maintain a safe, clean, and low‑stress environment so your pet feels cared for and you feel confident while you’re away.
Information Alexandra F. would like to know about your pet
All pets have their own special quirks, and I love getting to know what makes each one unique. I appreciate being informed about any special needs, medications, or routines your pet has so I can keep their day as smooth and familiar as possible. It’s also important for me to know your pet’s likes, dislikes, and comfort zones. Any additional information you feel comfortable sharing helps me give your pet the best, most personalized care
A typical day
I would love to go on walks with your dog. As a vet student, I spend a lot of time sitting in classrooms, so getting outside and staying active is really important to me — and it’s even better when I get to do it with a furry friend. Walks are one of my favorite ways to bond with pets, help them feel enriched, and enjoy some fresh air together

Pet care experience
I have pet‑sat for friends and have owned animals since childhood. I currently have two cats of my own, and I’m in veterinary school with hands‑on experience working with both dogs and cats in a clinic setting at school and in a veterinary clinic. I’m comfortable administering medications, including oral and injectable treatments. I’ve also worked with multiple cat rescues and have experience fostering. I would love the opportunity to do dog walks — staying active and walking dogs is one of my favorite ways to connect with pets.

Reviews

Alexandra was very responsive and was able to adjust to our needs. Sent pictures and followed directions!

Alexandra was a wonderful sitter for my kitty! She followed all the instructions to a tee and was very communicative about the daily visits. She also took the time to play and snuggle with my kitty, which was really enriching! I will most definitely be rebooking her for future sittings!
Alex has been an incredible cat sitter over the past 2 years. She has watched my cats multiple times, and every experience has been smooth and reassuring. She frequently sends thoughtful updates, which gives me real peace of mind while I’m away. Alex is also very responsive and communicative. She’s quick to reply to messages and always reaches out if she has any questions about my cats’ routines or needs. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after and wants to make sure everything is done right. I trust her completely with my pets and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and caring sitter.
Alex is an animal lover through and through. Shes wanted to be a veterinarian since she could conceptualize what a job is. She is patient and kind. Understands animal behavior more than the average person. Which will help with any issues that arise, while helping her stay calm and caring.
