I’ve been caring for animals all my life, and there’s few things I love more than meeting furry friends! I’m the daughter of a dog show handler, a former Humane Society volunteer, and longtime pet owner and sitter. I’ve literally (ghost)written a book on raising your first puppy! I feel very comfortable with dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes, as my experience has taught me how to keep both myself and your pet safe. My time with your pet will of course be filled with lots of love and belly rubs, but also with enrichment activities and reinforcement of your desired behaviors. I love every animal I meet, so I can’t wait to meet yours!

I’m unable to host pets in my home, as I have two anxious cats that are way too spoiled. When caring for pets in your home, I have a whole host of enrichment activities I can use to keep your pet relaxed and entertained while you’re gone. When we discuss your pet’s care, we’ll go over behaviors and boundaries that I can maintain and encourage while you’re away.

Alex stayed at our house for two nights and did an absolutely excellent job taking care of our dogs. The updates and photos were lovely and I look forward to working with her again!
I scheduled incredibly last minute and Alexandra accommodated me. My dog is anxious and she was really sweet with him. Got pictures too. Would recommend completely.

Alexandra is great! She has been my twice weekly dog walker for about a month now. She communicates extremely well and is very reliable. She leaves detailed info on how the walk went with my dog, which I appreciate. She has gone out of her way to accommodate Ada, who can at times be shy with new people. Would recommend!
Alex was absolutely amazing!! She was so loving and so good with our two cats. My younger cat in particular is usually very skittish around new people, but was quick to show her cuddly, sweet, and playful side with Alex! She sent adorable pictures every visit, and detailed, enthusiastic updates. We will absolutely try and book Alex again for future visits if she’s available — 100/10 experience!! Thank you so much!
Alex is a very experienced pet sitter. They have volunteered at the local Humane Society caring for dogs and cats, and have owned both dogs and cats their whole life. No one has a better work ethic and a bigger heart for pets!

Schedule
I’m a freelance artist, so my professional routine isn’t always consistent. I keep my calendar updated and am able to be very flexible due to the nature of my work. I have my own cat to care for, so there’s always time to be made!
