I can do whatever you need for safety in the home (crating them, putting up gate, etc.). For my family cat at my parent's house, if there's another animal in the house I usually make sure they are separated by keeping them in different rooms.

There are a few things I'd like to know before sitting a dog, which I will list: -How is the dog around new people? -How is the dog around other dogs? -Does your dog get scared easily? -Are there any habits I should be doing with the dog for training purposes? -How often does the dog need to go outside? I also do not have any breed preferences. I love all dogs!
A typical day
I will take the dog around the neighborhood. Upon permission by the owner, I would love to take the dog to parks and trails around Albany (Washington Park, Mohawk-Hudson Trail, Pine Bush Preserve, Rail trail, etc.) or other fun dog-friendly parks. I also like to go on jogs so I can also take your dog with me if you'd like and you're ok with it.

Pet care experience
I have a ton of experience with dogs. I grew up with a lovely yellow lab who I loved with all my heart. I used to live with a rescue named Jezebel (roommate's dog). I walked Jezebel everyday and learned a lot about how to handle her when other dogs were nearby since she wasn't the greatest around other dogs. I also walked dogs professionally from Sep 2015 - Dec 2016. I've walked a wide range of dogs with different personalities and sizes, including many rescues. Animals bring me so much joy and I can't wait to hang with yours<3

Alexandra is an extremely friendly and kind individual to both people and dogs. I have had the opportunity to watch her interact with many dogs in the 6+ years of knowing her. She is very thoughtful and loving when it comes to caring for them as well as understanding how they will interact with their environments. She knows how to best set them up for success during walks, training, interacting with other dogs / people. I have had a lot of experience with people who foster dogs and seen people be extremely irresponsible but Alexandra knows what to do and when to do it and is always willing to do what she can to help the animals she works with. She is extremely responsible and puts the needs of the animals first and foremost. She would be the first person I would contact to care for my dog should I ever need it.
I highly recommend Alexandra as an option to not only care for your beloved dog, but also your home. She has all the experience you would want when it comes to taking care of your pet and the responsibility of watching over your home. With Alexandra as your dog sitter, I promise you will feel at ease while away from home, knowing you are getting the service that you request and need.
