Pet care experience
Where your dog is loved like one of our own
Having owned two Border Collies and grown up with dogs in the family, I’m comfortable caring for all types of dogs – whether they’re happy to snooze all day or full of sass and energy.

Ratings and reviews
Our dogs had a wonderful time with Alexandra. They were so settled and happy there I was worried they wouldn't want to come home! They were well looked after, the whole family got involved with the dogs and I had extreme confidence in their ability to love and care for my dogs while we were away. I would highly recommend.

Calendar and availability
Schedule
Between Sean and myself, one of us is home or around the house most days. On his days off, Sean is usually out walking with Ted in the fields or popping to local cafés, so dogs get plenty of company, stimulation, and fresh air throughout the day.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
We have a fully fenced garden and a relaxed, dog-friendly home. The back door is often open so dogs can move freely between the house and garden. Dogs are welcome to roam the house, or use a crate if that’s part of their usual routine – we’re very happy to follow your training preferences and instructions to keep things familiar and stress-free.

A typical day
A typical day is calm, active, and tailored to your dog’s needs. We’ll start with a walk or outdoor time, plenty of sniffing and exploring, followed by play, rest, and lots of affection. I like to mix gentle training, enrichment games, and downtime so dogs feel relaxed, stimulated, and at home rather than overstimulated.

- It’s really helpful to know about your dog’s routine, energy levels, feeding schedule, and any quirks or sensitivities. Please let me know about medical needs, anxieties, reactivity, recall, or preferences around other dogs, children, or being left alone. I’m happiest following your usual rules so your dog feels safe, settled, and understood.
