Active, friendly, energetic!
I've had dogs all my life and taken care of other dogs frequently. I trained my own puppy and also worked at a doggie daycare facility where I was responsible to ensure that the dogs were playing well , not getting into fights, and being taken care of throughout the day. I treat all dogs with kindness and respect. I believe a firm, yet kind, attitude is most effective when interacting with or training dogs.

I am just as playful, active, friendly, and energetic as my Border Collie, so I can keep up with any dog! I have a fenced-in yard and my own pup that loves to play! We will take care of your fur baby & make sure they get all the attention and love they deserve. I can easily separate or crate either dog if the situation arises & am careful to treat all animals with respect and kindness.

We were visiting the area with our dog and wanted a dog free day. Alexandra was able to accommodate us on short notice. I have been hesitant to leave my dog with other people as she's recovering from an injury but Alexandra took great care of her. I got updates on her during the day and she was happy and tired when I picked her up. I will definitely use Alexandra's services again when I am in the area.

Alexa was great! I was in town from out of state visiting family and needed someone to watch my dog for the one day of the trip while were at the Biltmore. My dog stayed with Alexa and her two pups and another dog who was there that day for the daytime visit. Alexa communicated well, was friendly at drop off and pickup, and sent several pictures. I also got to step inside her home at drop off and meet her and the other pups and see where my dog would be staying which I appreciated. My dog is very confident when in her normal routine and when in unfamiliar places with me, but can be timid when in unfamiliar places without me. My dog was timid at dropoff as I expected and I felt at ease trusting Alexa would take great care of her. At pickup, my dog was acting fully herself. Alexa cared for my dog well and it was a nice bonus that my dog had some other friendly pups to play with.
Alexa was great and was able to watch my baby last minute. He had a great time & even wanted to stay and play instead of leaving! LOL
My dog had a really good stay and Alexandra communicated very well.
Alexandra was great! My dog has separation anxiety and she handled it very well and was understanding. Definitely will hit her up when I’m in Asheville again!

Schedule
I currently work from my house so my schedule is extremely flexible & I am available to house-sit during the daytime or overnight and play with your pup as you wish! I have a very friendly, playful Border Collie who can accompany me on my visits (or not, if you don't want!). We typically take 3-5 walks per day and try to include a higher intensity activity 5-7 times per week as well!

- I don't hold a preference over dog breeds that I sit for, but would prefer dogs that are friendly to me and other dogs! I'll tolerate most behavior, except excessive barking or unfounded aggression.
