I grew up with 2 dogs and 5 cats so I’m no stranger to taking care of either species. I have been a volunteer for 3 years at an animal shelter in Naperville where I take care of pets of all ages. I also have 2 cats at home who have been around other dogs. Senior pets hold a special place in my heart and I love any chance to take care of your senior pup! I prioritize comfort and care. I like to deep clean the house in between clients so dogs are in a clean and safe environment. Couch and floors are cleaned between stays to avoid spread of disease. My fiance and I enjoy going out for ice cream and love to take dogs with! If you feel comfortable with us taking them along and getting them whipped cream, please let me know. A stay or a meet and greet must be booked within 24 hours of reaching out. Otherwise I will open it up to other clients.

Schedule
I work from home and would be available for your furry friend all day whether it be administering meds, potty breaks, taking them on walks, or feedings! Please note that I do have cats. I only take one client at a time so I can focus all my attention on taking care of your pet(s). Meet and greets can be done after 4:30 PM on weekdays or any time on weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
I want to make your dog as comfortable as possible and treat them like my own. I do not have a fenced yard but I have access to a field and walking path right behind the house and a side yard for dogs to use.
Pets
A typical day
I’ll take them for a minimum of 3 walks a day to have a chance to go potty and enjoy the outdoors. If you bring toys, I’m happy to play with them or if they are lower energy, snuggle with them on the couch. Pets are always welcome on our furniture!
